'Stepping Stone' employer
Working for Career Connections was mostly unpleasant and frustrating. The CCI Managers we worked with were underpaid, overworked, and unhappy with their job and it trickled down to their employees. CCI does not go out of their way to assist you with career advancement and they stick to a strict, bracketed pay scale where the chance of a raise or promotion is slim to impossible.

CCI closed without warning to employees
CCI was terrible with employees, no loyalty what so ever. when CCI closed the employees were not paid for their last week of work, that was over 800 employees dumped on for no reason. CCI could have given warning of the financial situation

Lowest bidder hires lowest denominator
Contracted to a computer call center. This company took over all contracts and started hiring people with no experience. Also pay for new employees was rock bottom with minimal insurance. Plenty of opportunity for more responsibility but no chance for raises. Management didn't care. Treated everyone as expendable. Feel sorry for our direct manager. He couldn't do anything about it either. Working at the call center was good because of the employees, not because of this contracting agency.

CCI didnt offer any benefits that were affordable
This company I would not recommend as I was terminated after 18 months of service due to a medical condition. They constantly change your schedule making it impossible to have a second source of income.

Horrible
If I could give this company no stars I wouldThis company is horrible to work for, the worst. There are no benefits really and the accounts are even worse. If you sick forget about calling in because they dock you for adherence. Benefits are not even worth the stuff you deal with here. They also tell you one thing and then a week later you get something completely different told you. They are never on the same page as anyone else in the company

In a very stress environment the management team are always supporting
A typical day at work is getting phone calls and solve problems, create tickets to send to expert teams. Learned and improved my skills with programming, and troubleshooting. Co-workers are great and work hard the hardest part of the job is when we can't help immediately, because the source of the error is more than what we can do. The most enjoyable is when someone is screaming of happiness, because we solve a problem for them.

Look presentable keeping in mind that you'll be interviewed in an office environment. Learn to read and type fast, but importantly, speak clearly and audibly. Observe your language and grammar. Mind your attitude; don't be cocky or over-confident. Be a team player and love what you do. Don't be desparate (driven by need), rather show the willingness to lead and learn.
