Privilege to work there, great staff members.Management had their pros and cons but was always there to assist when you need help.Salary was good.More overtime if you need it.Staff get lunch when they work overtime.Always nice when it was the end of year function. Staff could decide where they want there function held.Staff always helping each other to the best of there ability.I have never work with frames and lenses, learn allot while working at Zeiss.Work station was was always neat and clean.

It was a great experience working at Zeiss for 2 years. I learnt a lot, met a lot of new people and had such a great experience. I wouldn't trade this two years for anything. It taught me the skills I needed to work in a big company, it taught me how to work in an office environment with different people and it taught me some important life lessons.

Great company to work for. Fantastic products and brand. Well established. Not a warm, 'fuzzy' company, high performance is valued. Collaboration between segments is valued, however individual contributions is compulsory. Suitable for independent, driven, pro-active people.

dealing with military equipment made one see the extensive testing gone into making them the success that they are. it was not manufactured and put into work, testing and precision testing was acquired and all boxes had to be ticked off before it would pass working ability

Be employed by contract where my hands expertise,planning,commission,intergration,soak,Quality Assurance and maintanance skills and I am also advanced in computer skills

Very well organised workplace. Structured, with a lot of focus on quality.

My days were not always busy so I was allowed to do other things
occupy my time. My manager was very understanding and the people I worked with fun and compassionate.

Zeiss was the best company I had ever worked for. The company made sure they took care of their staff.  A very professional company with high standards.
