I managed the following entities on the Projects. This role takes responsibility for coordination and support to all levels of initiative teams e.g. recommending project solutions for scoping of business requirements, planning, scheduling, reporting and managing initiatives more effectively. This role also provides guidance on the project management approaches, procedures, processes, tools and techniques, to promote a professional and more effective way of managing initiatives within the company, in realizing its strategy.

I run a neat and clean multi racial office in Cape Town, We are completing a 735 site Roll out! I learned in this time not to see the world as an South African but as an international Consultant! To be General and Project Manager on a International project means you work 24/7. I have a very good relationship with my Co workers and I can see they look to me for guidance. Our region has been top region 75% of the Project! I like working for ZTE and will not mind staying on for a couple of years!

Every Day is always busy to get all work done ontime
Learned allot about Hybrid and Solar Panels and the fine details of all equipment that we use,there is so much to tell.
We are a super team,if something must be done,does not matter about time we all are very keen to get it done
Hardest Part is to get all power done and ready onsite before things can happen,its very time consuming to wait for other parties to do there work
The most enjoyable part is to get out of the office and do site visits and to be with my team and get the job done

With ZTE you have to be willing to grow they will give you a chance to expand and learn more, team work and confidence, working under pressure and long hours they will take you out of your comfort zone and be manager of yourself, i started as a call center agent and administrator, thereafter i did data base and document control for site acquisition soon after i was document controller for both site acquisition and quality control

Typical routine work includes general business, legal, commercial and risk advice to executive management and managing client contracts from a legal, commercial and business perspective.
Specialist work includes contract negotiation and drafting and commercial risk evaluation.

I thoroughly enjoyed working at ZTE, the best part was the opportunity to travel within South Africa and the East. My manager was supportive and collaborative and always open to considering my suggestions and proposals. Initially it is a bit of a culture shock, but once you have been there for a while you will realize how great it can be.

A task and guidelines are given and they don't care how the work is done as long as it is within the time frames and guidelines.
Working hours are fixed and overtime is frowned upon unless you are working on location outside of the base location. all allowances are paid by the company.

They breach the entire framework of the labour legislation and look for loop holes to cheat employees out of what is rightfully theirs in terms of the law.  The hire Chinese Nationals on Visitors Visa and not Work Visas which is illegal and increases the unemployment rate of south africans
