A typical day at work is like any other day at one of the biggest companies in South Africa. There is pressure, there is stress and there is obstacles that could arise that was not there the day before but, this is what separates people from each other, do you let all this demotivate you and make you want to run away? The answer is no, this is a opportunity to mold you into a better person and how to handle the pressure, stress and obstacles a corporate company like this has. You live and learn and if you not willing to learn while living then ambition is what you lack. I am constantly learning and never afraid to put my hands up when there is a opportunity to learn more. Management is people too who are here for a reason it might not be the same as yours but one thing that should be common is your willingness to grow and succeed in what you do. Management will micro manage you if you are lacking in what is required from you but if your are constantly excelling at what you do then management will not be afraid to show recognition and when opportunities for learner ships come up they can refer your name with a smile to business. Business does their best to create a positive culture here. we are given 1 hour lunch with 2 15min breaks. We do get regards and recognition when we do over and above what is required. . The hardest part of the job I would say is how people deal with conflict, not with me personally but around me. Should conflict not be handled in an appropriate manner then it does cause a uncomfortable situation. What I enjoy most about the job I do is, I decided a long time ago to not look at this place as a source of income only but, rather as a place filled with opportunities. In return I have learnt how to enjoy myself and there is no greater feeling than looking at your company and realizing that if you can condition yourself to believe that you are having fun here then everything about this job is enjoyable.

I had an opportunity to grow and learn discipline. I was introduced to new models and innovative strategies which I was directly part of. The kind of company that gives you wings to fly in any new company or environment. Gave me trainings not only for market place but to manage life and self personally. 
I have learned to be compassionate, provide excellent customer service without compromising the shared values. Dealt with various teams that inspired change in me and knowing the importance of collective participation which brings about fruitful results with less effort. Received training on planning, mastering performance, importance of setting standards as guideline and way of doing things. Time management and mostly negotiation skills. One had to often be assertive without being offensive, had to educate clients about the status of their accounts and ramifications. I was also privileged to understand how the bank recoveries worked and the risks thereof, how to manage and avoid same. The company shared values are anything to apply in one's daily life. The kind of values that not only build character but adds to moral ethics too.

 I have workedHectic schedule and very  tight deadlines could  not take away my smile, bliss and happiness becauses I developed a positive  attitude with my employer. Infact, I regarded my employer as my company or business, for this reason workload was not an issue for me.
I have been exposed to different
 situations and  departments in Wesbank which endowed me with a wealth of experience and knowledge. I have learned to maintain certain business principles and disciplines. I learned and developed business ethics and phylosophy of turning  difficult situations into gold. 
I believe that my vitality in life is directly proportionate to the vividness of my vision and my vision is infinitely clear because I am authentical to my self. The management style which displays good    values and vision result to happy employee and in return the organization succeed.Leadrship with  a good philosophy, attitude, activity, results and productivity always attracts employees.The workplace culture is always crucial to the welfare of the staff and the organization at large.Vibrant workplace culture is like an oxigen of the organization 



Early morning doing statistics of the past day and do planning for the day. Visit consumers to negotiate a repayment structure. 

I have learned that one's attitude can make a world of difference when interacting with a consumer.

To manage one's day is easy when you keep to the plan or if necessary, do a quick revision when an obstacle happened and proceed with the day.

Working from home gives one the freedom to do own planning.

The hardest part of the job is to repossess a person's vehicle when the last resort was for him/her to use the vehicle as the only protection against the elements of nature, in other words, their home.

The most enjoyable part of the job is to have job satisfaction when a consumer ran or tried to hide and the person was traced and the account was successfully rectified.

I used to travel a lot as that was my function to vist dealers throughout Limpopo and Maphmalanga. I use to travel about 15000 per month. I had a company vehicle and all the benefits that goes with work that I was doing.
towards my co workers we had a goods understanding. When we had a problem we use to discuss as a team to solve the problem or query we had. 
The hardest part of the job was when a salesman loan the new vehicle to a client and they knew that was against the bank rules than I have to view the vehicle the client's work place. 
My most enjoyable part of my work was when I reach my target every month. Something I work long hours on the road as some dealers are about 400 kilometers from my basis station. But was not a problem as I loved my job.

Working for WesBank is very interseting and fun as you learn everyday. There is no dull moment being here as our culture is to make sure that we happy and have fun. If you not enjoying what you doing, you will not manage to perform and delivering will be the hardest thing for one to do because they are not happy.
 My work is more of self managing myself and also allows me a growth to be me. As a teas we are strengthen by our motto that states " We strengthens me". For the success of the company as a team we need to stand by each other and assist where needed to as we don't work in islands. The excitement of my work always comes out from the people I trained especially when they know what the business expects from them and then getting an email that I am now a top performer or I am in management position

Everyday is a fun filled day at Wesbank, I am surrounded with friendly people not only in my team but in other departments as well.

The WesBank shared values is one of the most important things that stood out for me i.e. We strengthens me, My word is my bond, My work is my signature, I get better and better. With these Shared  Values mentioned most of the people I've come across shares that specific value.

Management however is very strict but lenient, friendly and only pushes us to do our utmost best in any function we pursue. 

The hardest part of my job is that it is very risky, with this being said one has to be very cautious and vigilant as we work with customers accounts. 

The thing I enjoy most about my job is that there's so much assistance and people willing to help you if you cannot resolve a query.

Typical day at work, starts with priority list, team motivation talk, follow up on escalated customer queries. management- open door policy, where people are treated fairly without any discrimination of favouritism, mentoring, coaching and encouraging, identifying training needs as well as rewarding hard workers without excluding the ones that struggle, thus identifying their training needs and providing a support system for them to reach their potential.
enjoyable part of the day, is getting the client to smile and service delivery excellence, retaining and growing clientele through research engines on the trends in the market place and being able to think reasonably on my feet should the need arise to make a hasty decision.

A typical day involves constant interaction with Management, leadership and staff around the various facets of HR i.e. Change Management, Learning & Development, Industrial Relations, Org Design, Remuneration and Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Project Management and day to day conflict resolution. 

The culture's one of mediocrity, however with the right attitude you'll be able to advance your career.

The most enjoyable part of my job is the daily business interaction, as well as setting up and training staff and management on the implementation of various new HR methodologies, policies, practices and procedures.

Wesbank was the most  wonderful unfortunately it was just a 5 year  contract .At the beginning of  every finacila year we given targets as employees and when reached , the company will buy presebts and make a big party.
I have learned good communication skills, interpersonal skills and telephone ettiquette.
the mangement there were very supportive and listening.
team members were always there for each other.
the dificult day of my life was to explain insurances and what they cover .
my most enjoyable part of my job was Specialized Recovery unit
