We Buy Cars

We buy cars say you earn a basic salary of 10k.

If you sell 40k worth of vehicles (commissions) they will deduct 10k off your commission and back that as the basic they pay you on your payslip.

They overwork you with hours and get no time off. They are micromanaging like crazy. 

This new thing has come into place “Rag in the bag” where us as sales executives need to clean cars and make them presentable for the public. (900 vehicles on floor)

They don't even try to speak about our basic that was taken away about a year ago. 

Webuycars is a toxic workplace. It was absolutely fun in the beginning, but has become too corporate and don't give a *** about you as an employee.

They fire people left right and centre. Just because managers do not like the specific person.

Don't know if my post will do anything, but let’s try. 

Try to avoid this space. If you are looking for work. All the branches are the same. We as sales executives cant say anything. We all feel the same way.

It's a good company for a young person who wants to build experience and find their feet, and the pay is well suited for someone starting up in life. However there is no space for personal or family life. You need to be able to handle a lot of stress and low job security. Contrary to claims, growth stops at an early point for most and is not based on character or skills but more on how profitable you were and who likes you, and the culture unfortunately does make you feel like a number. Also extreme working hours.

Interesting to evaluate different vehicles and learn more about the automotive industry. 
Most colleagues are supportive and helpful. 
Management does not seem to care about the well-being of employees in a financial or mental sense. 
Declining salaries over 3 different commission structures in about as many years. Commission based work only. No basic salary which leads to a lack of stability. 

To open my own business in an industry I had gained a wealth of experience over the years was a great opportunity and I could not look back and wonder, what if. I loved working at We Buy Cars and gained an enormous amount of knowledge and experience and I will always look back with great memories and achievement.

We buy cars Is a wholesale cars buy and sell cars with more than five thousand cars in the warehouse I was enjoying with collecting cars from the client to the warehouse to be honest the owner of the the company  the are running company professional and I love it

It was good at first, but so many changes have been made over the years to take money from employees, yet the company makes billions a year. Every time the commission structure changes, it is not with the employees interest at heart. Rather, it’s to make sure that people are not making money or not getting paid at all.

You will work hard but it will depend on who you know to get promoted. The managers have bullying tactics. In most cases, you find that people who are not even qualified or experienced will get promoted just because of their skin color. And the salaries obviously is also racially influenced

Although the potential for earning is high, the job requires you to be on your feet 10 hrs every day (sometimes 12 days in a row) with little recognition.

You will learn a lot in terms of sales and the importance of following procedures.

I enjoyed working at WE BUY CARS.  The team dynamics were great and I learnt a lot. 
It is a fast paced, changing and growing environment with a lot of stress and pressure. 

Room to grow and learn and a great team spirit.

Work 10 hours a day, high workload,no pay for working on Saturday,Sundays n public holidays, no basic salary, commission structure changes anytime but only to benefit the company n make sure that sales get less commission or no commission at all
