for me being a student coming from varsity and coming home during the school holidays and having to be given an opportunity to work there and gain work experience it was a dream come true because everyone who worked there welcomed me with warm arms and provided me with the training i needed to be competent.a typical day at work included serving tables,communicating with customers,taking orders and trying to make the customers happy because wimpy falls part of the service industry and their biggest assert ofcause are the customers so we always had to make sure that the customers work out of the doors happy and exited to come back again.what i learned while working there is the imortance of team work and respecting each other in the workplace can have a positive influence on your job and ofcause the job of your fellow collegues.the hardest part of my job was keeping the customers happy because we all know that an individual not everyoone will like you so making sure that my customers where happy all the time and that they got everything they needed in time was the hardest part but with hard work and determination that can be archived.

working at wimpy was a very great experiance for me it taught me how to listen attentively to what people want and how to work fast  thus providing good services,I learned how to put a smile on my face and make sure that the customer gets what they want.          

There' nothing that can complete what you love doing best than your co-workers,having to work with an organised staff that sticks to their time slots and dedicate themselves to their work makes your job easier and more enjoyable ;)

I must say that the hardest part of the job is serving someone who is not in a good mood or having to deal with a co-worker who is just not at their best for that particular day,or taking the blame for a wrong order even though it was the customers fault. 

Being a waitress is not all about taking an order and delivering the food its more than that,its about the satisfaction you see on a customers face after  they have eaten a perfectly prepared dish,its that smile on their face that makes it all specila

A typical day was 8 hours long with 30min lunch included. got to work and served customers the whole day till you knocked off. had to keep a smile on your face even though some customers were rude. I learned to be patience and not be emotional and to keep a straight face even though I was not feeling well. The management was good, did not take any sides in resolving matters, there were no favorites, if you did not do your job you were reprimanded. The co-workers were OK, formed some friendships and stayed away from any conflict, sometimes had to swallow my pride and work with everyone as best I could. The hardest part of the job was having to stand the whole day, that strains the feet. The most enjoyable part of the job was customers saying thank you for the great service and saying they will come back just because you served them well, and of course the tips

Daily routine was to look after guests and attending to their needs during their visit. Welcoming them to the restaurant, escorting them to their table and also informing them of any special offers or meals. Receive food & drink orders & serve customer requests to the standards required. Serving dishes to customers at tables.  I learned how to look after guests with special needs i.e. dietary requirements, allergies, mobility. I had a good relationship with my manager to an extent she confidence in me, that she made me to act a supervisor even I was temporal staff member. I also had a good relationship with my co workers because my excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The hardest part of my job was stocktaking but I overcame that obstacle because I'm a fast learner. The most enjoyable part was when getting tips from satisfied customers.

*A typical day at work:*
My day starts with a morning meeting to discuss daily specials and menu updates. I take orders, serve food, and ensure customers have everything they need. It's fast-paced but fun!

Wimpy is a family restaurant, a typical day at work would involve having to handle many tables at once.

what i have learnt is  patience and listening skills to customers, and that the customer is treated with respect and is always right.  

The workplace's culture was to make sure that every customer was made felt at home when inside the restaurant and never to keep them waiting for a long period for their service or to be seated.

The hardest part of the job is when you have a misunderstanding with the customer which can cost you a lot, you can be rated as the waiter with poor services, and can be reported to management.

The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the customer happy and being tipped very well for quality fast service you provided.

Very busy branch not enough time to communicate with senior level management so productivity was sometimes slow. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people everyday, working alongside my colleagues and learning new things, thus broadening my abilities. The hardest part of the job was covering for one of your colleagues at the busiest time of the month. In conclusion, I learnt a lot about working with people and insuring the client/ customer leaves with same smile she walked in with, thus by ethically treating him or her to the best of my service abilities...

Get to work sign in go to assigned place for the day and start working, 30 min of lunch time then knock of. Patients were very important there becouse i working with mostly racist customers so i needed to be carefull how i respond to them. The co-workers were very lazy but we had a good working relationship at times.The hardest part was finding transportation and I could not understand the sharving of tips at the end of the month as waiter you so hard alone but had to share your tips at the end of the month.their toasted cheese and tomato sandwich at lunch time.

Waitresses greet customers, escort them to their tables, provide menus and take orders. Once an order has been placed, it is the job of a waitress to ensure that it is delivered in a time-efficient and accurate manner.

They also ensure that the customers are consistently taken care of without invading their privacy. They keep in constant touch with customers to ensure that they have been provided with all that they need until their orders arrive.

Once an order is delivered to customers, it is the waitress’s job to ensure that they are satisfied with the order.
