What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day at UDM International is structured, fast‑paced, and performance‑focused, requiring discipline and consistency from start to finish. The day involves working toward clear targets, staying mentally sharp, and maintaining a strong work ethic while operating in a high‑energy, results‑driven environment. There is constant focus on productivity, improvement, and pushing past comfort zones, which can be challenging but also very motivating. Every day demands effort, resilience, and accountability, but it’s rewarding knowing that the work put in directly impacts your income and growth. While the days can be intense and sometimes stressful, they are also purposeful, driven by clear goals and the opportunity to build financial stability and long‑term success.

Generally we meet at 07:30 where the sales agents, admin and management gather to an almost social vibe to take stats from the previous day and be informed of whatever relevant information there may be for the day. We then get onto the phones where we rigorously dial clients and pitch the products we sell in order to get the client to become a client. At Three o' Clock we end and if we are on target that is the day over. Often there will be fun days which are cash prizes, wine, toys, sweets and various other things used to incentivize sales.

I have learned the most from this position. I have learned to perfect my telephone technique and my ability to sell very well by understanding people on an individual scale. And then using this information to adequately market the product to client. It has taught me how to work well under pressure as targets are prominent in this company.

The management is competent and young in their approach and have personal interest in each and every employee as it is a small company. We are split into two divisions so our management is always competing with the other division in a positive and fun way ensuring they are always performing at their best.

The workplace culture is one of the reasons I fell in love with this company. It is such a dynamic and energetic environment with the fun days used to incentivise sales. Also the causal day Fridays usually accompanied by music in the morning to get the vibe going for the day.

The hardest part of the job is to take the declines. Even though there is adequate resilience training it is a tough part of the job and the stress of a declined sale can take its toll.

The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to satisfy customers. There is no greater feeling than when you get a sale to an excited customer knowing they are receiving top quality products.

I’ve worked in a few different roles before, but none have challenged me or pushed me to grow the way UDM International has.
 From the moment I started, I quickly realized that this is not just a job it’s an environment that truly develops you both personally and professionally.
 The level of discipline, resilience, and determination you build here is something that carries over into every area of your life.
What stands out most to me is how much the company invests in its people. The training is incredibly strong, and you are constantly being guided, supported, and pushed to improve. 
It’s a high-performance environment, but in a way that makes you want to succeed rather than feel overwhelmed. You learn how to handle pressure, think on your feet, and push past limits you didn’t even know you had.

One of the biggest things I’ve gained from working at UDM is financial discipline and an understanding of what it takes to truly earn and grow your income. You are in control of your performance, and that comes with both responsibility and opportunity. The more effort you put in, the more you see the results  which is very motivating.

I’m genuinely grateful to be part of a company that challenges me daily while also giving me the opportunity to earn at the level that I do. It has completely changed my mindset around work, growth, and success.

I would highly recommend UDM International to anyone looking to get into sales or to anyone who wants to be pushed outside of their comfort zone.

I started working at UDM International when I was 20, full of energy and enthusiasm for the opportunity. I was excited to learn and grow, but my experience here was incredibly disheartening. The company pays minimum wage, which felt especially unfair given the heavy workload and unrealistic expectations placed on employees.
From the very beginning, I was micromanaged to an extreme degree. There was no trust in employees to take ownership of their work, and every task felt like it was being closely monitored. Instead of being empowered, the atmosphere stifled creativity and initiative, making the job feel more like a constant grind than a career-building opportunity.
The culture of favouritism was also a huge issue.
Certain employees were given preferential treatment while others, like myself, were left to deal with an overwhelming workload and unattainable targets.
These targets weren't just tough-they were almost impossible to meet. And if you didn't hit them? You were fired. This happened regularly, with people being let go on a weekly basis for not reaching numbers that were clearly unrealistic.
As a 20-year-old just starting my career, I genuinely wanted to succeed, but the toxic environment, lack of support, and constant threat of termination made it impossible to stay motivated or feel valued. I wouldn't recommend anyone apply to this company.
The low pay, excessive micromanagement, culture of favouritism, and unrealistic expectations make it a place where you'll struggle rather than thrive. If you're looking for a healthy work environment where you can grow, look elsewhere.

The company has a very conducive environment and overall positive experience.  By far I highly rate them on certain operations, they are indeed the best in the world, no doubt! 
 THE DOWNSIDE Process "Tapping" as they call it, is so inhmanely done, worst nightmare and so traumatic as job seeker, done without being discreet in front of the whole floor.. It's really uncalled for, and some of the supervisors seemingly enjoy putting people in that position, with a fake smile. Interesting though that some Temps at the company are given "second opportunities" to improve or unrecycled leads, etc depending on race ofcourse (true story) and how cosy you are with the team leaders, this part is really so appalling to even watch cos they pretend like everyone is treated equally but not if you observe closely. Their supervisors undermine ppl intelligence based on appearance or race to think you cannot see certain things. Their MD is a phenomenal woman with great leadership and people skills, not sure about some of her subordinates.  The company uses a very in-depth structured training program with their campaigns however the fact that certain races can only be limited to certain campaigns is a problem.  Maybe a personality analysis is the first step, I could be colored but sell very well to people outside that race...interesting how language also is only selective to certain clients. Selling to Afrikaans market u can use their language but to Africans not, interesting contradiction when you think about it.

Spend my 90% of the my day doing my daily  work contacting customers marketing the policy to them convincing them to buy the product. Sometimes go beyond to make them agree to take the insurance . I have learned that percvearance is the mother of succeess and that to achieve your goals you have to work had nothing comes easy in life.

Rated on perfomance and target made on sales reached per day per week and salary based on the commision.
Management very strict and firm on time management and attendandance which made co-worker not to stay at the company as they were expelled due to under performance 

Could not contact anyone during working hours or answer phones during working hours tea break and lunch time very accurate 
So far I never had enjoyable time did not ejoy any time at this job.
Have to leave the place as i was always stressful and fighting to achieve target and end up not happy to wake up and go tp UDM

I love the working hours at UDM International from 08:30-16:00 wich gives me enough time to get home and enjoy the money I make here. I learned that you can achieve anything if you are willing to work for it. We do have strict management which i enjoy because of that everything stays professional at UDM International and anybody can achieve their goal.I love my co-workers very money and target driven like me. Always motivated and ready for the day. The hardest part of the job i would say is competing for the incentives. All sales people are very driven and competitive, but it is also fun.Most enjoyable is working on a uncapped commission and not having claw backs. Money earning is unlimited targets are great and very reachable. I was an average income earner and know i earn more than market related and have been here only  7 Months. Sometimes i do work over time but it is because i want more money it is like your own company. Just not so much stress and you don't have to pay for anything.

Working at UDM has been one of the hardest but most rewarding experiences of my life; a typical day is fast‑paced, structured, and high‑pressure, requiring discipline, consistency, and strong mental resilience, but the effort truly pays off. Through this role I have learned perseverance, financial responsibility, and how to work relentlessly toward long‑term goals, ultimately becoming debt‑free and financially secure for the first time in my life. Management is very performance‑driven and holds you accountable, which can be demanding, but it pushes you to grow and take ownership of your results. The workplace culture is competitive, energetic, and suited to people who are ambitious, money‑motivated, and tenacious. The hardest part of the job is handling the pressure and expectations, while the most enjoyable part is the freedom it provides no stress about month‑end, bills, or putting food on the table. It is a stressful job, but it pays well, and for driven individuals, the rewards and personal growth make it worth it.


UDM International is a very target-driven and money-motivated sales environment. If you are competitive and motivated by earning potential, it can be a great place to build confidence and develop strong sales skills. The company provides structured training and a supportive team environment that helps new employees learn quickly.

However, the role can be high-pressure, as daily targets and performance expectations are demanding. It’s not the right fit for everyone, but for individuals who thrive in sales and are driven by commission and incentives, there is strong earning potential.

This experience is honestly not easy. The pressure can be intense and rejection happens a lot, especially in the beginning. There were times when it felt discouraging and I questioned whether it was worth it. You really need thick skin and persistence because not everyone will say yes, and the process definitely tests your patience and resilience.

That being said, if you push through those challenges, it can absolutely be worth it. The growth you gain from learning to handle rejection, staying consistent, and improving your approach is huge. Over time you start to see results, build confidence, and develop skills that carry over into many other areas of life.
