Plan, organize, lead & control ,safety, direction & grade, dimension, support,breaking, cleaning ventilation, equipment,   labour, station landing services of air & water roadways, belt spillage, refuge bays ,storage, waiting place, traveling ways face,responsible, accountable, committed, live the values, lead by example, approachable, team player, superior job knowledge, good listener 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Inadequate working environment, lack of proper resources, lack of equipment, few promotional opportunities, harassment, poor relationships with employees, crisis incidents community unrest, change management lack of support role conflicts organisation culture 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
We care for our people, we behave in business interest, we behave ethically, we care for the environment, we accept no injuries, we will prevent repeats,we will maintain perfect working conditions,falls of ground (will bar,support and do proper entry examination) Lock-out(lock out before working on any machine or equipment)  SPMM'S (will not operate an unmaintained spmm,will not operate an spmm in unmaintained roadways)

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Handover from previous Shiftboss, read communication book, going to service departments when there's any geological disturbance in panel, commucate with miner and give clear instructions about status of panels and where to support, cleaning and blasting safely,ordering materials, check status of machines if in breakdown report to control and trackless engineering, go underground when doing early shift or if there's any panel need the present of the Shiftboss, measuring panels and plot on underground waiting place and surface plans,check if employees are working according to sop,mine standard, cop and license are still valid ,ventilation, water control, centre lines,pillar lines,grillings,rig lines,trimming lines,fill in log book,communication book, bookings in computer, wait for the miner to come out from underground to give the last report, sign log book and fill in communication book and sign ,status of all panels, when am late Shiftboss going to time and attendance for clearance and sign when shaft is clear ,go to control room to sign blasting book and inform mine overseer on duty to initiate the blast and I knock off

I have gained more experience in terms of surface and ground water monitoring, contractor management and have enjoyed gaining the knowledge in that aspect. Two Rivers Platinum Mine was a productive, knowledge empowering working environment. It was the first mining industry I worked for and the culture of a mine and that of a corporate industry are way too different thus everything was stimulating and of a good experience to actually be able readjust and fit in the new culture at a work place.

Attainment of ISO certification and continual improvement thereof

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Achievement of million fatality free shifts 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and welcoming- always willing to break previous records

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Normal 8-9 hrs shift - start by workabout at problem areas and attending management and sherq meetings. Thene, focus on daily routine.

But i want to become a safety officer because i have done the cause as my career.iam working very nicely with Two rivers management and also with my co;workers,i even wish to get the safety officer job there.Production is always hard because is a business.My job is always challenging because i am working with different people with some different minds,however i enjoy my job very strong

I appreciate my job ,I make sure that I am always at work to set a good example to my subordinate s in order for them to value our job as a team and archive good goals for everyone in our company because we are are a family.

Start the day with meetings
Discuss daily work like audits and inspections
Two co-workers in the same office
Go underground
Accompanied by Supervisor into work place
Discuss safety and health issues with Supervisor
Identify training needs of workers
Shower and return to office to compile a safety report

I personally will say is a business that strives to achieve its goals and maintaining that it's values are carried out all the time  it promote healthy lifestyle at the workplace and in the community's .


normally arrive at work communicate together with my collegues about the job of the then hold safety meething and preparing the job and give instruction to my miner .

checking on availability of labour with a valid lincencies to operate the machine safely also availability of machines not  on the breackdown.

I was very grateful to work for Two Rivers platinum mine, you value your self-esteem and much company standards and procedures. There's was no job better than safety when performing every tusks
