Most of the supervisors are snobby and would keep on pushing agents back. I almost cried on several occassions because of the humiliation i would feel by the way they would respond. Nobody understands personal emergencies and health emergencies, they would still force you to work even if you beg. Honestly the salary is a joke compared to the amount of stress and anxiety attacks i would get every day. At first i was fine with the wage but then all this drama made me realize it's just not worth it. Even when you resign and render and go through the clearance, you'd hear hundreds of horror stories with the back pay/ final pay with previous employees habing to wait for more than a year to get their hard earned money. I realy wanted to love that job and to be fair it takes a lot for me to dislike a workplace, as i don't find it fun to complain. However since I kept on getting rejected by sups while being yelled at by angry customers I thought this isnt a company i would want my worst enemy to work for. Especially with how the mcs would keep on yelling and screaming you'd lose focus on the call and get pressured by their ear splitting high pitched nagging from that noisy radio. This is that job which makes you sigh in relief once you get home and dread the coming of the next day.

I Like to wake up feeling happy , feeling all confident and telling myself you are coming to work. To reach a goal and to have fun whilst doing so. Coming to work in my culture is a blessing. When it comes to management your managers is happy too see you, smiling and give you the day's mission and achievements. Having team buildings with managements is fun and great way of building team spirit.

Your co-workers is so excited to be with you. Respect one another's culture. Motivating a fellow team mate with regards to stats. Making team targets and achieve individual goals. I have learned when a team member is down don't bring him down, talk to him and try and assist where you can. I also learned customers is the people who pay your salary and go that extra mile to giving that customer a great experience. It will promote the company and it will make you as an individual feel awesome and that builds up confidence in within your working environment and spreading the great customer care to your fellow team mates.

The most enjoyable part is having great facilities to keep you entertained and great sportsmanship with employees.

Teleperformance is a great place to work at however not all management play there role in professional, some days or great others not.
The most unfortunate thing is the salary.
Pros :
Not all agents or tl even management gets paid the same all depending on your previous salary (makes sense).
Uk bank holidays most campaigns doesn’t work.
Uk & sa holidays you get mini sweet treats.
Cons:
You get a 3-5% increase every 2nd year (not amazing at all)
Your medical insurance you (momentum) is what they say they provide you for free however you pay for it check your payslip
A medical insurance doesn’t cover much and because the work (provides) the medical insurance your can’t apply for your own private medical aid because you can’t have both.
Transport is provided home because you work till after 6pm (time transport starts) however because the company is so huge and a lot people stay in the same areas you go home with about 10-16 people and may result in you getting home 2 hours after shift besides the 30mins you wait to leave after shift.


A typical day at work would be me coming in at my scheduled shift and logging on to my computer and start taking calls which ranged from customer having problems with their cellphones to not being able to connect to the internet with their usb modems. When I was unable to resolve a querie on my own I would request further assistance from my team leader. My co-workers and I would shared our experiences of the calls we had taken to further educate ourselves on queries we had delt with. The hardest part of the job was dealing with queries we had never encountered before or had very little information about on our systems as well as handling irate customers that had receive bad service. The best part of the job was successfully assisting the customer with their querie and ensuring that you've given them a long term solution so there is no need to call back.

Working here(Boulevard)  has been an incredibly stressful experience. The management is highly incompetent, with many managers who clearly do not know what they are doing. Instead of focusing on supporting and guiding their teams, they seem more interested in playing power games and ganging up on agents.The work environment is toxic and unhealthy. You constantly feel like you're walking on eggshells, never knowing when you'll be the next person to lose your job. What's even more frustrating is that terminations often have nothing to do with performance or productivity. Instead, they seem driven by personal agendas and petty power struggles among the managers.It's disheartening to see so many talented and hardworking people get pushed out for reasons that have nothing to do with their work. If you're looking for job security and a supportive environment, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. This place is more focused on internal politics than on actually getting the job done.

Review of agent KPI and performance. Planning of days activities via Outlook. Coaching of at least 5-8 agents per day. Identify key performance outliers daily and indentify route causes of behaviour as well as feedback of previous days coaching.

What Ive learned: no two people are the same, you have to coaching each individual differently and it is extremely important to build solid relationships with your agents based on trust and communication.

I get along very well with my co-workers especially the other team leaders as most of them were agents at the same time as me.

The hardest part of my job is always having to put you teams best interests first to ensure your team is a happy and productive one.
The most enjoyable part is seeing the agents you have groomed succeed and promoted to better positions and also the changing environment. Every day you learn something new.

Working at Teleperformance was a positive experience for several reasons. Firstly, it provided a stable job with a steady income, which is important for anyone looking for financial security. The company offered a friendly work environment, where colleagues were supportive and helpful. This made it easier to learn and grow within the job. Additionally, Teleperformance provided good training, ensuring that employees were well-prepared to handle their tasks. The work schedule was also flexible, which helped in balancing work with personal life. Furthermore, the company offered opportunities for career advancement, giving employees a chance to move up in their roles. Working at Teleperformance also allowed me to improve my communication and problem-solving skills, which are valuable in any career. Overall, Teleperformance was a good place to work because it provided stability, growth opportunities, and a supportive environment.

a call centre environment is a very busy environment and you are required to be very punctual especially in an outsourcing company,"time is money". i would describe a typical day at work as very busy, get to work in time, answer the calls until you get your breaks which should be taken in time and used accordingly because misusing the time cost the company which results in your salary getting deducted.you need to be punctual all the time time, and it really mould me to be as punctual as i am today. i had a good relationship with co-workers and managers as well. I learned to solve problems that i can not see, I had to apply listening and communication skills, probe enough to understand the end user's problem so that i provide accurate solutions to avoid customer calling back again as it affects my FCR. Overall i had a great experience working there.

The training staff and agents on the floor were very helpful and made the environment bearable. 

The management was terrible though. They had no clue about the work, were of no help and were terrible leaders. The leadership structure was based on favouritism and not skills.

The hours are long, the pay is not enough but they had free transportation that dropped you off at your door which was very helpful. 

I really enjoyed the facilities though, the building is great and clean, the amenities worked well, the transport system worked well, pay was always on time. 

The most difficult part of the job was dealing with the lack of leadership and constant technical difficulties which meant were never resolved. We were told to come in an hour early without compensation in order to avoid being marked as late even though we were on time due to the various software issues. 

Don’t stay too long there, there is not much opportunity for growth.

The hardest part of the job is managing difficult customers while maintaining professionalism and meeting performance targets. However, the most enjoyable part is the sense of achievement from resolving issues, receiving customer appreciation, and the strong camaraderie with teammates that makes every day rewarding.
