Below were my day to day duties;
Merchandising
Till operator
Stock taking
Floor operator
Sale assistant
Receiving stock
Help desk

I don`t focus on the above duties in one day, i used to rotate within the shop duties. I enjoyed interacting with customer on daily basis especially when working on help desk or as a floor assistant.

My colleagues were a vibrant team, lively and friendly. The hardest part of it is dealing with a difficult customer whom is not willing to listen when trying to advise.

I have learned that listening skills is vital when dealing with customers especially when he or she is angry.

The Job is great but lacks in breaks, we recieve 15 mins tea time a day and staff discount isn't always available for employees due to store budget. The work hours are long and very strainous. 

The pros is that it is a huge company with growth depending on where you employed ( jhb,pta) .The growth is slower in the smaller regions but understandably so.

Sportsmans is a great company just lacks in small matters in the management team.

The day usually starts at 7:30 am, that's when we have our team meeting before the store opens. In the team meeting, we usually discuss the budgets that every person made the previous day and the budget each person needs to make on the present day

Sportsmen Warehouse was typical retail store, where you start work at 8am and end at 5pm and have an hour break. i learnt how to think on my feet and be able to find a solution for a customer, the hardest part of working there, you would stand the entire day and there was no time for interaction with co workers.

At Sportsman warehouse  I started to work in the  administration department where I was a cashier And I did filling for the management.I learned Office Microsoft.and then I worked as a sales assistant at the sports department wich was very challenging but very exciting.

taking  year's to get permanent  position, working on weekends only. product  Traning  knowledge, stock  taking. volunteering to assist at the  race  marathon.

Interact with customers in a professional manner. Try to make as many sales as possible per day. Respect every customer and staff member. Be vigilant about the things around you.

It’s okay for a student looking for extra income on the side. Only work weekend and public holidays. 
During festive season you’re offered contract. 
Normal hours
Saturday: 10-5
Sunday: 9-3
PPH: 9-4 

I truly enjoyed working there but I was a casual worker and I truly did my best In working soo hard and earn my experience no matter how hard it first began to work In a huge store

I'm hard working,a good team player who can also work alone. I adjust easily to change and I like to learn for for growth and experience. I have a good sense of urgency.
