Spinnaker Software is growing exponentially and I don't foresee it to slow down anytime soon. There has been loads of opportunity for growth whereby Spinnaker Software has assisted with training. I have attended external courses with qualified establishments which increases my value overall. 

There are some long days and nights, however, under the correct management this is compensated for. 

Spinnaker Software started a work from home project for some areas of the business. (Even before the Covid-19 epidemic) and has their employees best interests when making critical decisions.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Spinnaker Software. I was responsible for the company's procurement and ensuring timely delivery of the requested parts for store installations of till points.
I worked under a great leader who had my back, and in turn it heightened my initiative and diligence to perform to the best of my ability. The company overall has grown to more than double and while I was working there, the employees and the work atmosphere were both pleasant as we operated as a team. 
I was young, yet I grew up fast in this role, because I learnt what it meant to be responsible for your role while working in a team.

Spinnaker is still a developing company and it seems to be developing in a positive way. Driven by strong human resources concerns, the culture of the company has adapted well to challenges such as Covid-19. There is work to do and in the software development department you'll work long, tough hours. 

Mostly fair remuneration and they pay well for top talent. Largely conservative management at the top but starting to recognise and talk about diversity as an important business concept.

Typical day at work would be analysing data to better provide our client with the edge in the retail industry. Communication is key especially in our retail industry, internally to our staff and externally to our client. Constant learning and pro-active thinking provide me with the tools and know how to manage my teams and provide our clients with the best service.

Worked here for 4 years. Management is really toxic, I was victimised, micromanaged and scrutinised for years  because I finally spoke up against the manager’s vile attitude . All techs felt the same but nobody speaks up because they will be victimised. It started taking a toll on my health and have all the certificates from specialist to prove it but the company won’t hear you out. If you’re thinking of applying here, DO NOT. The company puts on a facade.

My experience in this workplace has been overshadowed by a toxic environment marked by unprofessional behavior, poor leadership, and unethical practices. Favoritism and manipulation have created an atmosphere of distrust and stress, making it difficult to stay motivated or feel valued. Despite initially learning a lot in my role, the lack of respect, accountability, and integrity within the team has made it an unhealthy and unsustainable place to work

Since they restructured the company and people moving around under new management work is not enjoyable anymore.There is no benefits. You only get your salary. Long hours in division 5.No work life balance. Constantly working later then what you suppose to. Make sure whatever they tell you is in writing. 

Management is very toxic. Team leaders often lead to favouritism.
Alot of office scandals where personal issues bleed into the workplace.

Not recommended at all. They also have no regard for your health and often lead to schemes to entrap you as they constantly have a high turnover rate. 



High staff turn over rate, terrible management, homophobic/xenophobic managers, internal bribery for best shifts/overtime, attempted constructive dismissal through entrapment, etc.  

Toxic management culture with little to no opportunity for growth. Expressing interest in career advancement resulted in increased micromanagement and bullying from management. Overtime was expected regularly but not compensated, with the justification that it was simply part of the company’s work ethic.
