Training material was updated with the Business Analysts and simulations were edited in line with the training material.

Key meetings took place daily to keep the Finance Team up to date with the project developments.

Change managers would keep the Finance Team up to date with any new processes that have to be added to the existing training material.

I learnt that you have to work very hard and be totally committed to your role to fit in with the Shoprite work culture.

The hardest part of this job was working 400 hours overtime in 4 months which was unpaid but had to put that effort in to bring the Finance Team back up to date in line with the project timelines.

I enjoyed working with the Business Analysts and Finance Managers who gave us a lot of time when developing the training material to ensure that everything was accurate and correct.

Loved working there People were like my family and we ai loved working for the company the people made me feel welcome i loved what i did there.

I learned great people communicating skills and learned how to build customer relationships, also learned how to deal with difficult situations and client complaints.

I have learnt how to implement solutions for difficult situations.

My development in staff management grew a lot in my previous company because i had so schedule the regional personnel managers daily schedules and route plannings also had to consider their travel and working hours so that they could complete their daily schedules. ll got along

As a general assistant, I work part time the hours that we work are very small it's like they are spitting us in our faces. We work only 16 hours per week and when it comes to holidays sometimes we don't work our normal shifts because even during holidays we work 8 hours per day plus the salary is supposed to double for the day, but management insists on having us work for just 6 hours and that is not right.We are not even given opportunities to apply for trainee manager positions. We are never informed about any available internal vacancies.

work station is comfortable ,friendly people always ready to assits,it's all albout teamwork and togetherness.hardest part is when we reach our end of finacial year ,all the stores have their last stock take for that year and we need to get their results ready .we at least have a "perk"every friday we have a braai at work after 5 a "a drink and boerewors roll" just to end off our busy week and just relax a bit .

Good company to work for , quite stable , good benefits , medical aid contributions, staff discount and pension contributions. However the management , micro manages staff , belittles staff and shows no appreciation.

The work environment is well structured and continues to strive to improve. 

A bunch of dedicated individuals who want to achieve more than they did the previous day. It becomes a luxury to meet targets and to be at work.
