Responsible to build safety file and compile appointments of employees to site. Liaise directly with senior management and national safety manager. All administrative duties required by the department of safety. Notification of construction work applications. Incident management Investigation. Health & Safety Committee member.

The workplace is sometimes light although the workload was heavy.
the admin personnel are very friendly and never shy away from the work.
The management was tough but fair in some instances, in all work environments not everyone will see eye to eye.
The support given when i was there was great.
The hardest part of the job was the fact that the company did not always balance the work/life. 
The most enjoyable part of my time with the company was the growth I experienced in everything I learned and I am proud to say the accomplishments that was achieved.

I was recently  involved in a job where the metal sheets had to be developed to be a box for 3 big valves in Kriel power plants I was a team leader and, i know i achieved much towards working with difference people who have different experiences it was a big thing for me beside the fact that those boxes had never been develop and used on those valves and i have always liked working on new things as a team, giving out different perspective and taking major decisions it was a privilege. that was fun

They are cooperative as we are brothers keepers when you need a clue of something they help you out.
During audit time although it is nothing bad od that difficult.
When I am implementing staff and employees about safety procedures and standards quoting from OHSAct

I'm  always on time and ensure that job is done and productivity.i learn to take responsibility on my own,obey safety standards and to be brothers keeper because safety come first (zero harm).Your myst strive for excellence and pledge to learn more about your job.Good communication with you colleagues and being able to solve a problem on site equity. 

SGB-CAPE taught me a lot of things and it is the reason i decided to go back to school to further my studies, cause i feel that job security is very important but at that company there was no such if they felt like firing you today they would do so without a problem and lot more other things that happened there which some i feel they are more confidential and i cant share the, i gained experience but not so easily.

I have been with the company for 5 years, learned alot and sucessful company.
I was promoted to a contract administrator over the years. Im doing site visits, attending meetings with clients and make sure the invoicing is according to what states in the contracts. I am also doing the Debtors.

I had a great experience at SGB cape for about 4 years which I learned alot about the environment and industry. Iv taught myself that working as a team is better than working as an individual mostly on preventing from injuries and it increases the job to be more productive. I'd like to move on to another step to experience much more in another industry

My most enjoyable part of my job is when i erect scaffolding and passing material up and down.  I learned that safety is my responsibility. The hardest part of my job is when i work more than 4 meters above the grade and the whether is cold yet the job must be done. My co-workers make job easy and enjoyable for me because they are friendly.
