Being the head of the academic team, responsible for getting new programmes designed, developed and submitted for accreditation as well as ensuring the existing programmes are rolled-out as per the guidelines of programme criteria prescribed by the Council on higher education.

Working at Richfield was one of the most frustrating professional experiences I have encountered. Communication between management and staff was inconsistent, decisions changed without proper notice, and employee concerns were often ignored. The workload was overwhelming, yet support and resources remained limited. Opportunities for growth and professional development felt more like promises than reality. Staff morale appeared low, mainly because hard work was rarely recognised or rewarded fairly. Internal processes were disorganised, creating unnecessary stress and confusion across departments. While the institution presents itself professionally from the outside, the internal environment felt unstable and poorly managed. There is potential for improvement, but meaningful change would require stronger leadership, transparency, accountability, and genuine respect for employees. Based on my experience, I would struggle to recommend Richfield as a positive workplace to others. The company urgently needs a healthier and supportive culture.

I will like to gain experience in the relevant field of my studies, as i want to grow in the field of Financial Accounting and secure a senior position in a high volume working environment. Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology gave me an opportunity to adapt to the working environment and grow potentially. I am now most confident and handle any pressure positively. I have learned more things such as handling the petty cash, using the ICAS system, Communicating effectively and became a stronger Financial Accountant. The hardest part of the job is working long hours during marketing and preparing the POEs for students.

The working conditions are very good and I have improved on my communication skills.

 I have learned to me more responsible. Every day I facilitate students and help them on self development and teach them about the efficient ways to study for their test and exams. 

The management of the company helped me a lot by giving me every resources I need to be a good facilitator. The hardest part of the job is when students don't come to classes which makes it hard to finish the syllabus on time.

The most enjoyable part of my job is when students are attending and participating in class activities.

The general work environment is fair. There is a lot of pressure on the few available lecturers, as a single lecturer is responsible for more than 5 modules a day. I have been learnt how to plan and execute my duties diligently. The management is fair My co-workers are cooperative. Some deadlines are unrealistic. I have the latitude to freely demonstrate my level of knowledge on any subject matter.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Assisting students on choosing a right career , not only that make them feel at home

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It when it almost the end of the month the prospective learners who have promised to register do not pitch or they will tell me that they are nolonger interested

Working environment is superb and great culture 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Ot when it raining people do not show up

Richfield its a great institution where you will get all the experience which you are acquired to and it is so helpful in terms of the management and the team, student advisor and those who are in charge of the learnership programs.

And to me it was a great opportunity being in their field because i managed to get all the benefit that i wanted and the experience that i gained in their field of business administration it was perfect and one of the best

Very high employee turnover, why?
-Management abuse their power to intimate anyone who challenges their decisions.
-Ridiculous work load; you might get hired to be a Library assistant but end up lecturing and playing HR officer against your own will on a below minimum pay. 
-Go to work every Saturday just to sit on campus.
-Furthering your education is prohibited if you get caught they find a lousy reason to fire you. 
-Lastly, toxic co-workers who hate your guts just because you are better qualified than them.

It's good to work there but sometimes it was a stressful environment and if it were a game sometimes they'd change to goalposts everytime you'd get close to a win. But overall provided good enough experience to be able to do better at tests and work under pressure. But overall I did enjoy my time there with little downsides but for most of all, if u can find a relatively good campus to work in, you'd not regret it

Engaging with new people everyday and building a strong relationship with students.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making sure that to you understand what you are selling is very important.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's a good environment , because you get to learn new things everyday.
