A typical workday in this role was extremely long and demanding. I regularly worked from 6 a.m. to around 7 p.m., starting each morning with training, then working on the floor, and ending the day with sit-downs. While the structure was meant to support development, the constant cycle of training and sit-downs often felt repetitive and unnecessary. Waking up around 4 a.m. just to make it on time was not sustainable, especially with no real work-life balance.

As a first-time worker, I did learn a lot about sales, communication, and the basics of a fast-paced working environment. I appreciate that experience because it gave me insight into how the professional world operates. However, the workplace culture felt very similar to high school — loud chanting, in-your-face motivation, and an environment that sometimes felt more intimidating than inspiring. It could feel overwhelming instead of uplifting.

I did not have a positive experience with my supervisor. The dynamic felt uncomfortable, and at times, I felt more like I was being controlled or pressured rather than supported and coached. There were moments where the behavior came across as bullying, which contributed to the stressful environment.

The hardest part of the job was definitely the unrealistic hours combined with the high-pressure culture. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the experience enjoyable overall. While I am grateful for the knowledge I gained as a newcomer to the workforce, the environment and schedule made it difficult to feel motivated or satisfied in the role.

This was one of the most disappointing places I have worked. The pay was extremely low and did not reflect the amount of work or responsibility expected from employees. Staff were expected to work long hours, handle multiple duties, and deal with constant pressure while receiving very little in return.

Management showed little appreciation for employees, and concerns about workload or compensation were often ignored. There was little opportunity for growth, promotions, or meaningful salary increases. Morale was generally low because many employees felt overworked, undervalued, and easily replaceable.

Training and communication were inconsistent, making it difficult to perform the job effectively. Instead of supporting employees, the focus often seemed to be on getting as much work as possible out of staff while keeping wages as low as possible.

I would not recommend this workplace to anyone looking for fair pay, career development, or a healthy work-life balance. Unless significant improvements are made to employee treatment, compensation, and management practices, I would strongly advise job seekers to look elsewhere.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I've learnt marketing system, law of average a system of finding positive buyers, 5 steps a system for a successful conversion, impulse factors how to tale customers to the till and 8 steps a system for a successful good work ethic, teaching, training and motivate new guys on how to work a proven system of Law of average 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not finding customers some day however understanding at the same time that days are not the same we have 2, okay days, 2 good days and 2 bad days in a week and working long hours

Cold canvas and door to door sales also its also a learning program to become a manager in the future on own Real promotions and you got to be promoted from different levels within the company

Be excited, have fun, work Territory correctly knowing your hot-spot put 100% effort Team work seen tons of people consecutively and doing whatever it takes. Working hard while having fun

i was scared when i 1st started as i had little experience but as time passed i realised i could actually do this. this was with the great help of my manager and co workers. who are never too busy to lend a helping hand.The management team is always willing to teach and help."THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A STUPID QUESTION", those are the words said by my manager on my 1st day..This motivated me to learn more and im very excited about my growth within the organization.i have worked in different companies before but Real Promotions feels like i have reached home! and im always happy to tell people "YES, I WORK AT REAL PRO because it GREAT..  Great people, great atmosphere,great vibes.....

Working on commissions is no free ride, what you put in is what you get out. So far my efforts are paying off, coz writing your own cheque is one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself as you have no one else to blame for what you earn. If you believe you are able to make money got yourself, please apply. I’ve never worked in such a fun place with fun people where you can literally do anything and at the same time must be able to put In 100 % effort , and have a great work ethic and keep an open and positive mindset. Growth is there and you can see it and as you grow and develop you get to management cycle of development then you start earning a nice basic salary. People this job is not for the faint hearted so if you’re one of those people who are looking for safety nets in terms of basic then ....

The best part about working at this organisation is the trust given to individuals to meet targets. Micro managing is only in place if targets are not being met. I've learned to think for myself as excelling in your work leads to frequent incentives & promotions in this organisation. Management are very hands on, and there is a family oriented culture in the office stemming from the CEO remembering everyone's names and personally greeting each member every morning and asking something about their lives that was previously spoken about.
Most enjoyable part of the job is how we as a team get rewarded, when we achieve all our individual targets, this serves as motivation to keep pushing our own boundaries and in turn grow together as a unit.

I enjoy working at real pro because it taught me how to manage myself and grow as individual to great extents. I have learnt more about myself in this business than anywhere else. The company teaches you and trains you to become a manager that won’t be an easy task which is why I think it’s the best opportunity. Growth is only possible through hard work and determination which is what real pro teaches you. Other than that the atmosphere and the co workers are exciting and interesting people and clouding all the fun we have in the field working with and meeting new people every day. Definitely an opportunity I wouldn’t miss for the world. 

A typical day at work is Arriving bright and early , i  work in admin and i love getting here early because the sales agents are here full of energy and positive attitudes . I have learned so much about myself and about how important it is to have goals in your life , and that if you put in hard work and dedication you will always achieve your goals. All managers in Real Promotions across the board are so hard working and dedicated they help you grow everyday. I love The fun work environment here , although its fun and full of energy we are ALL very hard working people !! 
This is the best company i have ever worked for . I am so happy with my growth and so excited for my future growth in the company !! 

This company posts false advertisement saying: you get a basic of R8000 + plus commission etc. When I started working there, they told me I would have to work my way up and I would only get paid commission, my first salary was about R1000.
This company is fraudulent, you spend your own money on travelling leaving you struggling for the rest of the month.

You "enter" the office dark, travel to the field and go back to the office "leaving" dark, the hours are ridiculous for the salary you get. I would not recommend this company to people that's looking for a stable job within their field of interest. 

The company only wants you to make money for them, they don't care about your health and safety !
Ridiculous !

You learn how to dial and talk to customers over the phone

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Calling a customer to convince her/him to buy a particular product that you promoting and get turned down or trying to introduce yourself then get dropped on the spot...but ohh well you have to carry on and not give up

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its a very great environment because after a period of time we meet up as a team and discuss how are sales going

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
None I can think of because if you want to take a break from dialing you can but what's most important is to push your sales
