First thing is to check any correspondences from any dispute resolutions centers, Trade Unions or clients and respond accordingly and timeously. I have learned that team work is very important and all departments are interlinked with the help, support, communication and co-operation from management and co-workers it makes things easy, simpler and less complicated. The hardest part of the job is not receiving information and proper documentation pertaining to a dispute or formulation of charges when one needs to subject an employee to a disciplinary inquiry or any other situation that needs to be resolved. The most enjoyable part is when a process is completed and no one is dismissed or when one receives an award from the CCMA or Bargaining Council in our favor or being able to get through to an employee by means of counseling or any other method of correcting his/her behaviour. Reason for leaving was that I was not able to fully practice Industrial Relations as I was always in the office and contact with clients and employees in sites was very limited and restricted.

I was hired as a General worker, but I was given more time to learn most of the work.i have learned how to despatch and sorting. The most enjoyable part of the job is that we work from 7:30 pm to 16:30pm but we knock off at 16:00 and paid full hours(16:30).team work made me to enjoy my work.working on a clean inviroment,safety rules is compulsory,you are not allowed to enter the premises drunk.breatherliser is compulsory to all the employees including the all the management and securities.safety shoes and reflective vest is compulsory,your not allowed to enter without safety shoes and reflective vest.housekeeping is well maintained all the time.no late payments 

As a Phakisa Holdings employee you are collected by a Phakisa contract transport at the specific spot where you are going to be picked along with your colleagues so you be can be dropped at the warehouse.


You are working hard as it's concern at all warehouse positions for 9 hours or working time or double shift if requested by the supervisor or as you wish to be considered for double shift.

I find all positions enjoyable because most the time as you are working you are building yourself and your working somewhere somehow you are utilizing your skillsto further the mission of the company.

I get to the client do what ever the client reqires if i finish my duties i then help other  departments, iv leanered that you should be able to grasp quickly in oder to move along production, ive worked with deferent styles of managers but able to adjust myself to that style , The hardest part is when the team delegates work to me because im work for an agent then get recognition whilst they havent play their part on the task in hand.

Respect, you get respect even from your biggest company holders, and everyone is equally important. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Days are not the same some can be very busy with alot of work to be done,but most  importantly if you get your work done there'll be no stress for you.

The environment is good as well as the culture it all goes with respecting your work place and everything that you work with. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Getting my job done and going home.

its fun you interact with lots of peole on a daily bases telephonically and via email the level of communication its very professional,i learn how to use sap in this company.the management is very friendly and proffesional the taught us how to function well under pressure,the colleagues are the most wonderful people i have i met the communication is very key we work well in a team spirit we do tema build-up session,there is nothing hard in here,the cycle count of stock is the most enjoyable part of my job.

Typical day at work to me is Friday because i know on Saturday I will get my money. I learned   there that you have to be united to others so that you will work well ,and I like the way the managers they treat people ,they give more pressure to them so that they know the way of working, workplace is good because they have cameras so it is safe no one can still your things,hardest part of the job is to waking up on morning at winter ,enjoyable part of the job is to work night shift on me

it was close from home and lunch was cheaper that time

when working night shift i alwasy got sleepy but i couldnt sleep because employees kept on asking help

environment was welcoming and the culture was positive

working going for tea break and smoking break

the job is very good because I enjoy working with people
I have learn how to supervise employees, how to lead and control people.  I have gain management skills, leadership, skills.
I have a good relationship with my co-worker, the hardest part of my job is very difficult to me to get absent replacement during a night shift.  I enjoyed working with people

End off contract while you still enjoying and gaining experience
