For most employees, the job is very physical. Management at times can be very indifferent. Compassionate managers usually get taken advantage of by 'bad apple' employees, so mgt in turn, can become pretty stoic and hardened over time. Some of your coworkers are absolutely incredible. Others call out every chance they get, and the burden gets placed back on other people. At the end of the day, it's a lot of slinging drinks. The money and benefits really keep people there. But culturally, a big chunk of the workforce is constantly talking about leaving for some other employment- which becomes a drag on attitudes. 
I knew an older guy that pretty much had to get a surgery every year just to keep doing his physical job. It's good pay, and it has opportunities for overtime. But most people aren't going to want to stick it out for the long-haul. The culture of the local plant seemed different than that of the national company. We'd get corporate emails about what Pepsi was doing to be more environmentally friendly. In the field, it seemed like we were making changes that created more cardboard and cheap plastic that you couldn't recycle. 

As a QC, a typical day involved ensuring that all processes throughout the day ran smoothly while ensuring the products met or exceeded standards.

I had gained a lot of skills, using new equipment I had probably never seen before and I really applied a lot of Laboratory skillls.

Management was okay, we only ever had a supervisor per a shift on site for the quality department. 

Workplace culture seemed good, there was always interaction among different staff and departments.

Hardest part of the job was having to work 7 days a week, with only 2 days off per a month. This included shift work, 5 days a week being 8 hour shifts and on weekends, 12 hour shifts. The hours did end up taking a toll on me, mentally and physically.

The most enjoyable part of the job was definitely my coworkers and the sense of unity amongst everyone.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The money is fair or enough for the position/ salaries are not reviewed they don't care about employees personal life eg. If you die they won't support you in any way not even a single person of management will be available or any help of transport provided, there's no one on one conversation with management or your supervisor, salary issues is the stressful issue. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You get treatment according to your work position, if you are at low level position you are seen as nothing yet will be in trouble when you do a simple mistakes 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Feels like a growth is coming but not, is just a promising environment

PepsiCo management have realised the need to adopt a world class manufacturing approach. To this end they have developed a 3 year transformation plan aimed at changing the business to one that is focused on performance. 

Typical day at work are based on Agile project management methods. Issues are identified and removed to ensure flow within the project. 

Being part of the SAP implementation team exposed me to software development processes and methods. 

External resources are valued for their contributions, however they are not provided any reward and recognition for their efforts.  

The hardest part of the the job was having to apply indirect influence to ensure results. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was becoming part of a successful team that delivered an exceptional project.

Overall PepsiCo is a great company to work for as you will grow. The R&D division's culture however needs a lot of improvement. The R&D PD teams are great individuals to work, but he culture and values within R&D team clash with my own. It is a very high pressure working environment where you are expected to prove yourself at all times. Business profits are often set at a higher priority than the wellbeing of colleagues. Burnout and working over time and after hours  is seen as "normal". Management needs more improvement to foster a safer workspace.  Performance/development feedback is very vague as well. Overall, know how long you are willing to work within PepsiCo before you join so you stay focused on delivering well and put hard boundaries around your personal life in order  to protect your mental health.

A typical day doesn't exist in PepsiCo, it's such a dynamic and exciting place to work. I have grown as a person and in my career in the time I have work with the company.
My role is challenging and rewarding. Management is supportive to career aspirations and keen to help development.
Workplace culture is built on mutual respect and understanding. It is a results driven business and KPI's are expected to be met and exceeded.
In my position, I receive continuous calls and Whatsapps out of hours which can impact work/life balance but the trade-off is  a growing career, competitive salary and great work environment. My greatest satisfaction is seeing people grow in their roles.

It is a very progressive forward thinking and fast paced organization.
Rewards for great work are abundant and management are proud of their work force.
Loads of great learning and development opportunities exist and there is a sound and solid awareness of company strategy and outputs from top management down to staffing levels. 
Over the years I have learned how to develop learning material for staff that is aligned with the overall company strategy. I have learned how to coach and mentor leaders. 
I went to work passionately every day and didn't have to seek out enjoyable parts of the job because my time spent at Pepsi was rewarding and fulfilling.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Company has good benefits and as employees we get some much support from our managers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not getting promotion or vacancy after you accomplished your trade certificate is very stressful

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work eviroment is good besides being short staff and you have to work hard because you are covering other peoples places but other than that the enviroment is cool.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I have been working for about more than 8 years in the company so the experience that I have makes me feel comfortable working at any area in tje plant.

The most enjoyable moment of my job is to that I work on the high speed production line.The hardest part of my job is that we always work more overtimes to get better wages at the end of the month while our bodies need to rest sometimes and it's part of our contract commitments to the company and it's not negotiable.I enjoy working with my team,people from different cultures,race,age differences,etc.I always attending breakdowns on the line with Fitters.I learned to work with people.I don't appreciate management style here due to development and growth.
