I have worked at Momentum for 6 years and gained much of my experience in Administration and Client Service. Within the first year of being appointed I have been  given the task to manage the biggest Portfolio, Cape Joint Retirement Fund and the client was satisfied with our service and continued their business with Metropolitan Employee Benefits. I was involved in team coaching and training on an ongoing basis. When our merge with Momentum (previously Metropolitan) occurred, I was then tasked with the Portfolio Head Sign off on portfolio's on the new platform. This was challenging and we could finalise the migration process well within turn around time. Excellent company to work for with recognition. Great team moral and I was the "go to colleague" for everything including assistance with communication, manager support, enhancing client service not just within our department but other areas of the business as well.

Apart from the awesome company culture, diversity is an incredible element that sets this company apart. It's team comprises of their management and training facilitator ensure that the skills given will nothing but the best when it comes to client services. They believe in excellence and nothing less! Responsible for the administration of approximately 10 companies.  Duties include processing death, withdrawal, retirement and disability claims.  General office duties.  Petty Cash management.  IT liaison.  Liaising with receiver of revenue, brokers and members of the fund.  Training and managing new admin staff.

It is not a fun place to work for with P4P in place. Employees want to work for a market related salary. No uncertainty about your income coming end the of month. # Away with P4P.

Stressful but also fufilling.  Enjoyed my time there.
They provided growth for individual's,  compassionate when in came to personal situations. 
Was my very first job and with all the ups and down completely enjoyed it.

It was a great company to work for, taught me to be hardworking,  loved the culture but I had to work long hours as I was on a pay for performance structure. Management was ok.

Low salaries, no performance bonus. Stressful environment . Unpaid overtime .Flexible starting hours, WFH allowed.Good opportunity to learn.learned a lot
