A really warm place to work at, very friendly people and are so much fun to work with. You can describe them as a family. Well nurtured.
It really didn't matter to me waking up feeling all tired in the morning, somehow I'll still progress during the day and make the best out of it, what i really didn't like about it though was working shifts and knocking off at 7 or 8 now and than and i still have to take two taxis to take me home and at that time its really dangerous.But still i at least managed.
the management is kinda otherwise because in connection with promotion and all that, they would treat employees unfairly and dismiss them yet they didn't even do anything funny though. I mean like how can you demote a well constructed team manager and replace him with somebody younger and less qualified to run his team..? i really don't like that.. i feel so unsafe in this place and its about time to do things i like, like drawing, I'm creative with my hands.. i drew since grade 1 and because we never really had money for private schools, i could never get the chance to further my skills so i just thought working would kinda be an option here at the moment but still its nothing though. I mean somebody is on leave, somebody else comes in, without a week that person gets your field of work as a promotion and whats hurts more is the fact that they didn't even tell you about it.

i just want yo do something where I'm not forced at doing it, something i really love with a passion.. i would like to further my career in animation but i just don't have the appropriate funds to further it. In matric i passed with a bachelor of arts degree and a distinction as well, my principal reckoned i should further my standards but i just don't get any recognition. But somehow I'll keep on trying though. Will never ever give up.!

My day at work, coming in the morning to make sure that my work space is user friendly and doesn't cluster my thinking abilities to assist clients and giving them a World class customer service. When its crunch time, 100% commitment is vital, working under pressure has always been good in terms of getting work done but always making sure that I deliver. I am goal orientated and solution driven and an extremely well presented, result orientated individual, with well-developed interaction skills. My strengths include career orientation, commitment, initiative, decision making, attention to details, creativity, time management, persistence, working well under pressure, accuracy, listening skills, teamwork, meeting deadlines, interaction with people at all levels, creativity and personal ethics. I work in an environment where I can enjoy ongoing growth and career development opportunities in an atmosphere of teamwork. Those that can worked with me can proudly say that I am efficient, mature and reliable. I can work under pressure and has knowledge for legal office procedure in the Insurance industry.

A typical day at Miway was about underwriting and updating policies, dealing with client queries and complaints, preparing of incoming and outgoing mail for distribution, filing and preparation of manual confirmation of cover sheets, cancellation letters, border letters, etc. What I learned at Miway is quality customer care, good oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and had to learn how to work under a lot of pressure. I also learned that a successful administrator uses the capabilities of the staff to make the plan succeed. Our management equipped us with the correct skills to get the job done effectively and efficiently. My co-workers were a pleasant group to work with. The hardest part about my job was when I did not own a car and had to work till 8 pm. However, that changed when I bought a car. The most enjoyable part about my job was just about getting the job done - being organised and having a successful job-plan kept me motivated.

it is a big company that offers good training and proffessionalism when it comes to marketing insurance quotes over the phone. it taught me phone attiquet and how to be a good sales representative. customer friendliness and relations is very crucial and thorough training was given on how to sell and market insurance quotes online. the working hours where long beacause it was from 8a.m to 8p.m so it was basically the whole day of making calls to clients. the hardest part of the job was convincing the client to take the offer of the quote and trying to make the client listen to what you have to say was also one of the most difficult things about the job. the enjpyable part of the job was the rewards we got when we reached or exceeded the set targets and free time we get when we pleased our boss and team leaders.

- Manages trust that you will get the work done and treat customers fairly at all times. 
- I have learned everything i know now about claims and computers while working for miway. I have been up skilled tremendously.
- The managers are fun but firm and wants all their team players to do everything to the company regulations. 
- Fun, exiting, Great vibes and culture in the work place. everyone gets treated with respect from senior level to cleaners.
- The hardest part i would say is handling a difficult client but your manager will always assist where they can.
- The enjoyable time i would say is the incentive drives to finalize claims and the WOW gifts that we sent to clients as a token of appreciation.

Not a bad place to work for the people are fun and full of life always cheering and motivating one another. The company helps you get your RE and FAIS credits with training included. Management can be understanding to your personal problems they help where they can. Teamwork is one of the biggest things because if one fails we all fail so motivation is a big thing. Incentives are given often in form of meals, money, appliances...we received a weekly bonus amount for attendance and weekly targets that was awesome especially if you didn't make alot of comm that month it boosts you and also makes productivity better.

The last day of the month as it is the last chance to reach your target.

Exciting, interesting.  Working with 500 people, you never run out of new things to learn or people to engage with.

A day at work for miway just hook on calls all day speaking chasing target's and what I've learned was how 5i interact with people to make them feel comfortable talking to a advicer we got lots of opportunities from management and so the money gets better.the culture at miway is the best the go all out to make u feel at home,so the hardest part of the job was the long hours but besides that I got to know how it feels to have a family away from home.

Prospecting commercial insurance to possible clients 
Conduct presentations to prospective clients and portfolios by face to face presentations i.e. corporate and private individuals so as to advise on various products and how they can benefit from them.
Selling of short term products i.e. Commercial Insurance
Continuous building of client base i.e. growing business 
Maintain, develop and grow relationships on existing clients i.e. networking 
Providing on going service and support to client base
Retention of existing business including renewals

I honestly commend Miway for believing in someone when that person has stopped believing in themselves.  When I joined MiWay they took me in on.a permanent basis(which is what I was looking for). Miway teaches you their product, they don't condone bashing a competitor. Their values speak for themselves. They're truly doing a difference out there in making sustainable jobs for the ever increasing youth job demand. They also are open to veterans of the industry to come and grow with them.
