I'm compelled to share my appalling experience at Monitor Net, where management prioritizes profits over people, exploiting workers at every turn. The company's sole focus is on maximizing gains, disregarding employee well-being and mental health.

I've witnessed firsthand the disrespect control room operators face from management and clients. Call center operators are demeaned, told they're not worth their salary, yet they're expected to put in extra time like just finishing a 12-hour night shifts, then they will be told to stay a extra four hours because someone is gonna be late, this makes a lot of operators sacrife time with loved ones. The toxic environment is unbearable, with employees constantly belittled and undervalued.

The company's lack of regard for workers is evident in their refusal to provide new contracts when transferring employees to new positions. This lack of formal agreement leaves staff vulnerable and uncertain about their roles and responsibilities.

Monitor Net is not a place for career growth or development. The focus on profit over people creates a toxic culture, stifling employee potential and well-being. If you value your mental health and career aspirations, avoid this company at all costs.

- 12 hour shifts, sometimes more
- Learned a lot about security, public safety and handling (sometimes extremely difficult) clients
- Management is extremely strict and will punish you for small mistakes
- Very stressful environment
- Hardest part is the long work hours - Shift work days, nights, weekends, all public holidays
- Only enjoyable part would be the colleagues/friends that you make while working there. They make the time spent there easier

That place gave me the best training and experience, my application is always considered whenever i apply elsewhere. The management is friendly and strict when coming to the work. The environment is so peaceful and full of love. The only problem is the lunch is only 20 minutes and the workload is a lot.

A typical day was to get handover from previous supervisor and if there was any positive brake ins the previous shift. I have learned that you can not trust any one that can not look you in the eyes from management. Management only lookout for them self. No racism all was working very hard. The hardest part Was going to work because you will never know if you will get time to take a break.

Everyday its an overload of work on alarm monitoring and pressure.
How to control work load doesn't matter how much.
Management helpful and when they want to promote you,they rarely take no for an answer.
Colleagues was always friendly,still friends with a lot of them.
Liaising with top management via telephone for retail outlets.
Everyday is never the same as yesterday

Good company, hard work and great exposure to local areas, knowledge of surrounding community and crime in area.

Working shift was difficult to get use to.  Assisting with incoming calls, with sometimes difficult customers.  Calling clients after alarm signal was received. Confirming clients safety.  
Meeting new people and co-workers were an advantage. 
I enjoyed the team commitment.

A lot of overactive alarms management punish based on hearsay racial issues smoking area is breaking area for smokers and none smokers pettiness from management. They get new staff every month pressure for nothing. Terrible company to work for.

Monitor net is a nice company but growth is limited. And the hours I really long 12 hour and sometimes more life more at the work then seeing my family, I am a hard worker and push my shelf in everything I do never stop and never back down.
