A typical day at work can range from a calm and productive to a hectic day with serious escalations. I have learnt to be myself and sort of embrace each and every one as we are all different people from different backgrounds, learnt and improved my communication skills. Management here has the open door policy, whereby you can anytime interact with management from wwork issues to personal stuff. Everyone is really nice to work with and accomodating, yet productive at the same time, a bunch of nice people to work with. The hardest part about the job is having to finalise a claim that has been urgent like yesterday and at the same time being in line with the businees rules. What I like most is when the beneficiary put there phones you and tells you how happy they are that you finalised the claim adn how much they were in need of the money since their sole bread winner has passed, it gives that fulfilment that I have done my job and done it well, even though it's not easy to please everyone.

I put heart into everything that I do whether its sports or work. I find that getting along with your peers and being a part of the team makes life more enjoyable and productive.
I perform my job in a way that helps others to do theirs in an efficient way. We all have responsibilities to make a work place friendly and pleasant place to be.
I am a self-motivated and responsible individual with experience of general office work, sales ability, admin and management skills, good interpersonal relations and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
I am punctual, reliable and methodical good at handling variety of task efficiently, with strong aptitude for communication, management and community development and safety.
I consider myself a reliable, trustworthy and honest person.I am able and capable of learning quickly and I will also contribute in making the company more successful.

- a typical day at work involves meeting with relevant departments to understand the needs for certain projects that may involve automating it on sharepoint
- I've learnt that you have to work hard in order to play hard
- The hardest part of My job is sometimes the red tape where your hands are tied on certain decisions that would benefit the company but cannot be made due to budgets and constraints
-Me and my co workers are one unit that ensures that the business has all the required tools and services available in order to provide the client with awesome service
-The most enjoyable part is completing and making a project and call centre process successful and watching the benefits it is bring to the business

• Assisting in the day-to-day management of the company’s legal compliance program that includes compliance with FICA, FAIS Regulations; 
• Create and/or update training content related to the company’s code of conduct, corporate policies, and applicable laws, including FAIS and FICA; 
• Attendance of Disciplinary proceedings; Assisting to manage the compliance due diligence and contract process for third parties, agents and consultants; 
• Drafting and/or amending Pension Fund Rules  in respect the company’s umbrella retirement portfolio and stand-alone retirement portfolio

Liberty Corporate provided me with an opportunity to develop from and entry level administrator to a senior manager by allowing me to participate in the changes that we required as the company changed as a result of environmental changes as well as business acquisitions.  As with most companies of this size the red tape and politics is a factor in the working space but can be overcome with clear focus  on the objectives in mind.

The management team are hostile and regularly reprimand their employees in front of other colleagues. The executive team are not aligned to each other so project delivery is negatively affected.

The above is based on my experience and observations at Liberty Corporate - I can't comment for the other areas within Liberty.

Senior Management is unaware of the challenges faced in the IT, Program Management and Compliance areas within their organisation. Responses to challenges is slow and decision making is fragmented. There is a constant flux in resource availability versus the desire to reduce head count.

Liberty in all is a great company to work for, with all the culture and diversity it surely makes for a great company to work for. 

Liberty offers great opportunities especially to young people like myself with the Learnership programmes that they to offer.

Knowledge of employee benefits and legislative environment essential . The company also requires extensive stakeholder management skills. 
I enjoyed being a communications specialist in a ‘ numbers’ environment.

Working for liberty is good I enjoyed working with people and making our clients happy by paying them their benefits on time what I like about working for liberty is their protect their employees they put them first the benefit are so high they teach us how to save for our future
