I have gained so much experience working at Department Of Transport as an HR Experience and the organizational culture is good among the employees.
The department of transport deliver the excellent service to the customers

Sometimes you have to capture claims that have submitted late

The work environment is excellent and the employees show respect each day

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The typical day is department of transport always participate in sport and we travel to play somewhere with other colleagues

30 years of experience gained at the department, has empowered me to improve myself and to engage with the community and try and improve the service delivery.  While I have enjoyed working in the Department it has become extremely difficult to remain motivated and  optimistic in an environment where resources are ever diminishing, with politicians making unrealistic promises to desperate communities, and little to no support from Senior Management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It teaching me the lot  of disciplinary and commitment at work 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We don'.t have our resources in our main office we use to travel if you need to print something.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They like to emphasise to follow all the holidays celebration.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Monday because it where I commit myself accurately.

i have learned a lot not only related to administration but also about service delivery and how to take care of your customers and records keeping 
management is good they are approachable and friendly
my co-workers are like my family now
i won't really say there is a hardest part of the job as long as you know how to meet deadlines and your work is always updated
i enjoy everything about my job, doing requisitions,stocktaking,taking minutes,record keeping, i enjoy almost everything

Exciting but lot of work that need commitment

General Worker is the person who always helping others on work and not specified working place and a good communicator with a positive attitude. When you are working as a general worker everyday you learn more about a job, and getting alot of experience through different types of jobs

my work is easy since i have a clear understanding of what is expected of me,i have learned a lot of things such as a creative writing skills. we have a good management and our workplace.The hardest part of our our job when we have to meet unexpected deadlines.What i enjoy the most about my i get to meet different people

Developed my skills in HR, HR Systems Management, Compiling of Reports, Employment Equity and Managerial Skills. Supervision Skills Learnt, conflict management. Very busy, understaffed and lack of qualification limited promotion opportunities.

I have vast experience in the Government administration, I have gained a lot of experience in the legal field hence I have been appointed as a Legal Compliance Officer by the Head of Department.


We were filling pothole,cutting big trees next to the road and cutting grass next to road.
It was enjoyable, teaching new 
things,productive, the management was active although the salary was least and pay day was not stable but fun was there
