Joburg Theatre

by 05:30 we must be in the building going to our showers then 06:00 we start the day.
we prep for breakfast 07:00 we start serving till 11:00, then your lunch time starts now in kitchen is hot and people  feel the fatigure from early morning, Its even worst when their shows i theatre.
One thing that Joburg theatre tought me is to maintain my speed and taking orders out in time. 
MANAGEMENT there is very formal and good people too their very few individual who make personal vandators.
The culture there gives more expiriance coz you travel a'lot from restaurant to restaurant.
THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB only one shift and you work long hours>> You can get inn at 05:30 till 02:00 am tomorrow.
THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB is to meet different celebs...

Fun and happy people. number.  I learned how to work with different people on daily basis. Workplace culture  was always be clean and neat attend  customer in a respective way or manner. The hardest part is sometimes you get customer who are very difficult are co-workers to work with but you have to remain calm in order to work in safe and calm environment 

A vibrant environment to be in. Totally recommend for it's dynamic shows and attendance(different audience for different shows) . The Joburg Theater company serves to it's best. The hard part was attending the same show(probably 3hours) for over 15 times a month. The atmosphere and setup of different shows is very amazing to see.

start off with a breakfast menu, then jump onto lunch, do all my orders for the day, do quality and kitchen checks, always fixing managements mistakes lol, get on well with my co workers, the hardest part is not knowing what time you are going to finish, the big functions and customer satisfaction

Since day 1 when I started[8 years ago]I enjoyed a lot.Meeting customers.talk,make jokes and play with their kids it's fun,but customers can rude and difficult sometimes-you have to smile and be friendly no matter what you going through.Getting 10% tip for your service  but not all the time.

It's great place to work at as one gets a chance to meet variaty of people from all over the country and even from outside the country. However I tend leaving.

Just have to be able to work with others and be active all the time be eager to work and explore. Also if you are a student you must be able to communicate well with others

I had an awesome work experience in Jo'burg theatre as an electrician,because of the good treatment it made me want to go work for other companies.I was working there temporary and I would like to get another company

It is great to be under Joburg City Theatre working as a bartender, but the issue we are not paid according to the work we do as bartenders. It is a great experience and I'm enjoying the work and creativity it comes with. 

I don't enjoy working here because we don't always get work, and the remuneration that we deserve for all our hard work that we have put into the various tasks assigned to us. Sometimes we sit for months without jobs.
