Worked flexible hours due to the nature of the project.
The medical facility that I surveyed was in a very poor condition and it required skill and concentration to conduct the survey thoroughly to enable me to compile an accurate report and cost estimation.
Management was highly approachable and helpful, treated staff as professionals.
There was a mixed culture of doing your work as required but you were permitted to take breaks as required in a responsible manner.
To obtain access to certain areas of the client's premises that were regarded as restricted areas.
Going to work daily because there was always a challenge.

iX is a fun place with lots of learning on the job that can be done. Bosses are not too stern although the salary negotiation and contract renewels can be a bit delayed and laxed. Overall a good place to work if you can start with a high basic and on a permanent contract. 

IX is a very small company, Excellent in their work ethics and strive to deliver and execute. Their culture is still being implemented as this is a new company and as a small company they still finding their feet financially.

Days at the office are quiet.  Consistent work flow.  Not much interaction with other staff.

Managers and staff are on different sites at all times and communication can get lost.

To work at ix engineers was exciting and i grow fond of my work and took every challenge as it came everyday and loved working with a hard working team

Good, quiet working environment. The people are great but some systems in place are not up to scratch. I have learnt a lot working there and it’s been valuable experience.
