it is great company where one could learn a lot of interesting things.A day at work includes,Investigation of the electrical faults within the plant substations,Carrying out the root cause analysis,Maintenance of the electrical motors (high tension and low tension),Quality control of equipment and machine operation,Ensuring compliance with the Occupational health and safety regulations,Operation of the programmable logic circuit within the plant control room,Attendance of daily quality and safety planning meetings.The management was also working together as team ensuring safety and attending needs of the workers.My co-workers,we were a very hard working team,they tought me so mch about electricity even not electrically related jobs.The hardest part of the job was working alone without supervion because by then i didnt had much experience.The most enjoyable part was monthly bonuses,fun days and working closely with an Operations Engineer.

Impala platinum mine is a very productive mine across Africa,the work is suitable for all gender no discrimination,the work places are safe for everyone to work on, if aperson is incompetent,training is provided to him/her so that she /he must work safe,the wage is fair to every employee,and they provide with company medical plan of choice,person protective clothes are provided to everyone,and ensure that they use them in a right manner through training,clean and safe underground environment for everyone to work on,sick leave is given to those who are unfit to go underground and being paid fairly,even the holiday leave is provided and paid in full,in this company there are social workers so if someone is trotroubled is free to consult.in short I can say everyone feels at home in this company

I learned a lot of things there as I was from school having only the theoretical part of the mining industry. All the practical work that I know now I got it at Impala.

There work was great we used to work as a team and I also learned how to manege people as a team and the individuals as well. I learned how to work with people and not not just be a team member without having an input in the team.

The most difficult part of the job was to manage people and try to make them understand the vision and the mission of the company why they are part of the company and what is their role in the company. I used to enjoy seeing everyone co-operating, understanding one another, work well as a team and produce more what is expected from us.

A typical day at work involves collaborating with a dynamic team in Cape Town, tackling challenges and delivering results. I believe I've learned a lot about teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Management is supportive, encouraging growth and feedback. Workplace culture is vibrant with a mix of local and international influences. The hardest part is managing tight deadlines, but the most enjoyable part is seeing projects come to life and making an impact in the community."

The Company gives you the chance to grow,to expand yourself and great teamwork,Excellent encouragement for its workers.

If you are first time worker you my be nervous about working environment or new colleagues, but that is not stressful as time goes on.

Great teamwork, everyone assist each other for the Company to grow and for everyone to reach their goals.

You must be a good timekeeper,communicate well with co workers and everyone around you, do your duties as expected

A typical day at work is the one when my manager comes to work moody. I have learned that no matter how hard and smart you work you cannot satisfy an unhappy manager. Management here are unfriendly they don't want to see other people progressing in life. Co-workers are jealous of each other. 
The hardest part of the job is when my manager gives me unreasonable instructions. The most enjoyable part of my work is that I like interacting with people. And I also enjoy seeing other people progress and succeed in what I have taught them. 

I also derive some joy when I managed to complete my work on time.

Job security you can only dismiss yourself that is how the company is lenient and tolerant towards its employees.

Promotion is only considered if there is a good word by your immediate supervisor which I feel is unfair and backward
