What is the best part of working at the company?
I'm a double coded Welder at hero arc..the money is very bad for south Africans.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Right now I'm having to sleep in my car cause the camp was closed an the money is too little to get Accommodation.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Outsiders Foreigners are treated better then south Africans .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Normal I do my job an that's it.

This is a company that has employed me in this capacity for 8 years. Always in a friendly an professional manner. They ensure that all employees are appropriately accommodated and fed for the duration of the shut and that transport is available. This instills a freedom where the employee can concern himself solely on the task at hand. Will always respond to their invitation to work

Tested and passed - had a lot of experience and friends, from Management to co-workers.
The hardest part was crawling between very small spaces between piping for a job to be done.
I enjoyed it when the days work was completed with exellent efford and everybody was happy.

i was introduced to the petro chemical industry and learned a lot on hand tools and safety standards.i managed to live and work with co-workers from different cultures and managed well. everything is practical and i got myself a chance to want learn more on mechanical fitting

Hydra-Arc is one of the best companies any Boilermaker trainee can ever ask to be in. The company teaches one how to handle and be ready for the real world of work. Everything the company taught me came to be very handy.

Do your daily tasks and give feedback to supervisors and you will have a good environment to work in... Communicate to your team all the hazards they are exposed to then you will have no problems at the workplace

I am responsible to receive and issue all Project related documentation.  I am maintaining a job file per project. It is my responsibility to follow up documents that needs to be returned or issued as specified by contract as per agreed time.

It is a very productive company, and i enjoy working here, not always thought...as long i can put food on my table. We normally get salary quiries that are not attended
