A typical day would start with a cup of coffee and greeting everybody.  I would then get all my load cons ready to attach to the relevant loads that came in during the night.  Then the post will arrive and the load cons will be attached to the loads.  Will start processing the invoices.  

While the invoices are processed, there will be mails coming in with queries.  I work at a fast pase and are very accurate in what I do as it figures and the company gets paid with what we invoice. After invoicing is completed I will handle the queries, and provide feedback to the relevant debtor as fast as possible.

While in the office some chuckles will be made and we work well as a team. Laugh and play hard.  

Month end is usually the most hectic time of the month as we push the invoices to go through for the relevant month, then there will be no chuckles only work.

Although duties in a warehouse vary depending on the type of industry and products that the company manufactures, there are a few basic tasks considered typical in most warehouses. Keep in mind that warehouse work can be physically demanding at times and may require lifting heavy objects as well as a lot of time on your feet. It is the kind of work that attracts those who are willing to roll up their sleeves, get a little dirty and use their muscles. If you are up to the physical challenges, working in a warehouse can be rewarding. Warehouse workers play an important role in the distribution of goods and services throughout the world.

Having 2 different profiles requires good managerial skills and ability to work well under pressure.  Attention to detail is vital. Meeting deadlines and meeting demands daily. Most difficult part is working just in time.  Most enjoyable is the ability to make my own decisions, solve problems efficiently and have satisfied customers.
Having the flexibility to air my views, learn new things and meet deadlines are some of the very few skills I have learnt over my 10 years at this company.  Management are assertive, compassionate, and approachable.  Staff are treated fairly at all times.

My work is to tupper loads safely to customer with no damages. We work as a team by using  strategies that will help us to make good and safe work.we have a supervisor to help and discuss with us on how to make good safe work. We work hard by tieing straps with rushets that requires physical energy. We are happy  at doing our  job because we work as team with rules  .

I started working shift then i worked normal hours i have learned everything about operations fleet and warehousing good working relationship with my colleques. the hardest part is the time of the strike where i have to accommodate everybody to get their loads out to satify our customers needs. the most enjoyable part is where i was receiving some compliments from the managers and everybody for the strategy i have used to handle all this

Manageable working hours as we work Monday to Friday , a lot of pressure especially when it is month end or the cut off date for our subcontractors. Ive learnt how to work as a team and also individually. Management does assist us when we get stuck and not sure on how something new needs to be done.. The hardest part of the job is when you have to take accountability for a query that arises months later. But the most enjoyable is how everyone is always willing to help one another

Goldfields is not afraid to take a chance with people. I love the fact that promotion is their culture. Personnel growth is the culture.

Just work hard and prove your worth as a person. No company will invest in a loss or unnecessary expense. Being and asset is what pave ones way and that is my slogan. Prove your worth and stop making noise.

The typical day at work it was when i had to stay up until 23:00 at night to look for 2 pallets on our stoke take.

and then we find those pallets the next day.

The hardest part of the job, is to be on the floor the whole time scanning the stock. But some days are enjoyable especially when the bosses are not too hard on you.

Long and local driver, I had good communication with my controllers. I was respecting my job, to be a driver I was a man for responsible customers were always come first I also respect all other road users. When I get salary my kids are the first one to be happy.
