New start-up plant(All new processes being done for the first time in Dunnotar Plant with great challenges to do Quality Cost and Delivery. The culture of the company is very dynamic as we have both local and international teams working together with different backgrounds proffessionally and culturaly.

Typical day is hectic 
I have learned alternative dispute resolution,wage negotiations etc
Its a young management willing to learn
The company is a green field,with a developing culture 
The hardest part is mantaining peace and stability and achieving daily targets 
The most enjoyble part is colloboration between line management and ER in implementing projects 


Gibela is the biggest project in South Africa. It was an honor to be part of the team who revitalized the rail industry in SA. The experienced that I gained on new rail technology was amazing. The interaction that I had with Global team ( France and Brazil) was a life changing one.

Unique product, unique manufacturing, and a perfect environment to gain experience. The human resources is slowly improving but they could do better, I expected engagements and frequent interaction with training department. Otherwise pay is good and everyone is invested in the same vision.

Its a nice company to work for. It promotes youth empowerment. 80% of its stuff is young black people. IT TAKES CARE OF ITS EMPLOYEES. IN terms of salaries they are fair and its balanced. 

Equal treatment, stick on the company values. Motivation to the employees, team building to all employees. Proper training to all employees. Promise is a promise. 

This was a transfer of technology programme which offered a good exposure to world class train manufacturing at different European sites.
Good design and manufacturing interface.

A typical day at work consists of performing the allocated tasks.

I learned about how to work in an environment with senior and experienced people.
The most enjoyable part was the execution of the tasks I was allocated.

Flexible hours and management made me as their former employee become more productive. Employer and employee interaction culture was exactly what employees needed to keep us focused.

It's got no human growth plan.
It's all about pushing production and no personal and professional development the ceiling is too nearer. Not a good place for the new qualified Artisans.....no facilities to better ones trade
