Fishaways is part of Famous Brands the leading company when it comes to marketing and customer service in the food industry. I as an individual i have achieved a lot and also have managed to achieve a lot for my company.
it is intresting being part of this bussiness because there is always room of learning new things day in and out through training courses organised through-out the year. I got to meet so many proffessional personals in this trend and that helped a lot in increasing production for my company or branch.
The most hardest part of the job that i can also turn into the most enjoyable part of my job is when it comes to deal with a customer complain or misunderstanding, this is where all of my skills are put to reality and its fun because i enjoy amking sure that my customer is happy at the end of the conversation.
As for me being part of management i enjoy that a lot because that has given me a chance to get to know more of whats happening around me in this present world when it comes to bussiness issues. I have managed to become a better and vibrant personal when it comes to handling bussiness and also working under pressure.
something that i enjoy more is when I set goals for myself and my team and at the end of the day find myself walking out as a winner. That makes me proud so much of myself.

Is good as long as you are ready to work shifts including late shifts. Otherwise the working environment is was great. The owner on that period was a good leader who understand his stuff and their beliefs without discriminating anyone. As for stuff I experienced a good team work players who support each other without thinking twice. As for management they always have their own favourite according to your performance but it help us to improve ourselves. I liked my boss because he gave everyone opportunity to learn everything around the store which help us in future job hunting, for example I worked as a cashier but I got opportunity to learn the kitchen stuff like I used to help during stuff shortage and even on a busy days I will offer to help at the kitchen maybe even at scallery by cleaning the kitchen equipment for the next use. Things I were not that difficult for since I were from fishaways menlyn mall also worked as a cashier there, then in glen fair are were only increasing my knowledge and experience since they are combo with steers that's were I learn lots about Frenchie. I'm not regreting for working in fishaways glen fair, due to personal stuff I forced to leave my job but now if I can get an opportunity or chance to work there again I won't look back I will grab that opportunity as soon as possible.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Best part of working with fisherways Is that I got to learn about the food brand which is  FAMOUS BRANDS and making sure that we meet its criteria in order to provide quality and efficient services to our customers supplying the correct products to them.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Most stressful part is the opening of the shop in the mornings,
The Frontline , makeline ,and the  upright fridge  have to be cleaned and setup for business also the  back of house must be cleaned for  preparation of products like veg,seafood, rice etc..

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly environment and it teaches us how to work well together as a team and get to learn about other cultures that are around us 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When I  don't even get a chance to go to tea time or lunch because of a busy day or shortage of stuff

It was great working in there. At first it wasn't easy since it was my first time working in restaurant especially working with people from different cultures., But when time goes on we used to each other even calling ourselves friends forgetting about our different cultures and beliefs. In fishaways menlyn that is were I learned to work in team work with other stuff. It helps me to develop lot of self esteem and interact with other people by socialising. Things were never been difficult for me when I moved to fishaways glenfair.i loved working in fishaways menlyn UN til the store closed for owner's personal stuff.

FISHAWAYS IS A VERY GOOD REPUTABLE COMPANY THATS VERY WELL KNOWN AND HAS GROWN VRY FAST OVER A FEW YEARS COMPETING WITH OTHER FISH OUTLETS BUT STILL MAINTAINING ITS GOOD STANDARD. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PLACES TO WORK BUT THE SALARY AND HOURS OF WORK DO NOT MATCH UP. HOWEVER I HAVE ACCEPTED THIS AS I AM A HARD WORKER FOR 7 YEARS GIVING IT ALL OF MY BEST AND GOING THE EXTRA MILE HAS PAID OF OFF IN EXCELLENT RESULTS. IT IS A VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED OUTLET TO HAVE A TAKE OUT FOR ANY TIME OF THE DAY. ALWAYS FRESH AND CLEAN, VERY VERY TASTY FOOD AT ITS FASTEST AND BEST SERVICE THA I HAVE COME ACROSS.

Being at work with positive mind and face full of smile.I learned to work as a team gain new knowledge about using plastic materials not plank cause you can get gems very easy. Management  was always on point.Work place culture was to keep the area hygienic all the time.We all learned by mistake it was not easy on the first day that was my hardest part.Is to give customers Morea than what they eare expected.

I enjoyed working there because I was dealing with Customers at all times.I would either work Day shift or Night because it was a reasturant so most of the times it would be to busy especially on holidays most often.Hallal cultural mostly because,its selling Fish and chips.When customers would complain of their orders being slowly sometimes when its busy,when people would be down to earth and understanding.
