My every day at work is very interesting because one can never tell exactly how will it turn out. iI dont follow any particular time table hence I am in payroll. I interact with different employees each and every day sorting out their griviences in regards to their salaries.

What I have learned is that when one is dealing with human being you need to be as understanding and professional as one can be. Be able to put your foot down, make sound and productive decisions that will benefit both the company and the employee.


I was very lucky to work with great people regardless of the fact that I am a temp they do ask for my view or input in some decisions making. They make one feel like an important member of this company, the General Manager stated that should I need any assistant I must not hesitate to shout, as well as the other members of the staff they are very much tolarent to myself being new and asking millions of questions and wanting more clarities in regards to work.

The person I am standing in for went on a maternity leave and she really went out of her way to teach me as much as she can about the job itself, she even used her weekends (unpaid) to do such.

The hardest part for me is when the employees gets their payslips and come to complain because it makes me feel that I did not do my work properly and effectively  meaning that I need to put more extra effort to minimize as much complains as I can, at the same time by then coming to complain I am able to measure my self interms of work ethics.


The most enjoyable part is when I take the reports for approval to the General Manager and the approves and says "thank you very much' with a smile, to me it say job well done, and yes I am a temp but a very outstanding temp.

Eskort do look after its people, sending us on a lot of training to gain skills and knowledge that you can use in everyday life. We start our day with a 5 minute team talk, then your day begins with sending out trucks, getting a stock count to make sure you have enough stock for the next day's orders. Our manager is involved in our day at work, as he got a open door policy. We have a great strong team, where everybody is a team player, making work a blessing. There are only so many hours in a day, and the work load is heavy, but we do manage to get everything done before going home. When everything goes according to plan, there are no incidents and everybody agrees that today was the best day ever.

In my experience my current employer is the best. it is just my contract of employment is going to expire at the end of December this year. This company have given me the exclusive experience since I first arrived here from from school knowing nothing about the working environment, but know I can manage the Human Resource Department when my HR manager is not available or is on leave and the department will run smoothly without a problem or complaints.

I plan my work for a day and make sure that I start with the important things first.

Getting to be trained as assistant cashier supervisor and assistant retail administrator

Dealing with difficult customers

It is a very happy place.we have very good clientele and the employees are very happy

Dealing with happy customers.been able to assist them with their need

A day and working overtime is not problem

My typical day is when I was moving to dispatch from production department I have learned that I was capable  of doing  everything .The general manager gave me this opportunity to prove myself in this male dominated sector. They were praising me for being the first lady to operate the forklift in the company. The hardest part was when I was suppose to count the stock inside the cold rooms  I was enjoying when I was loading the truck

NEVER liked working there because of THE gm attitude

Workers are good to work with they work as a team

Hard working,more hours per week the environment is not conducive,also salary is little.but nonetheless simple because you can able to buy bread for the family not to starve,due to no one can give you as much this nowadays.for I'm really grateful with what I have,but the wealth is not enough to provide for everyone. Sometimes you lack money for transport you end up with loan sharks.

Mutually agreed resignation in July 2015 in favour of a more experienced candidate. In reality the newly created position
within the company demanded the attentions of an individual with several years experienced rather than my current
graduate status.
