What is the best part of working at the company?
My team colleagues is what kept me positive and hanging in there. The company operations is extremely bad. It creates problems for staff, some managers are bad leaders, my manager blamed the team for a situation that the business bad process caused. That is not professional and gaslighting behaviour being displayed. No accountability taken when the business makes mistakes. Students end up with no timetables, no modules, incorrect enrollments etc etc  and then staff members gets the blame.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Staff are always cleaning up the messes that the business makes. Self enrolment didn't work, timetables were in chaos, modules missing , wrong modules showing, all this causes pressure and stress on staff to clean up the chaos. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic! Managers don't appreciate staff, staff are demotivated, stressed and land up in hospital with stress related issues. Senior leadership puts on a whole show in town hall meeting as if Eduvos is the place to be yet their staff in over worked, doing more than one role, getting no rewards or recognition, they are demotivated and stressed out! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy to the point that we don't take lunch break, we eat at our desks, we don't get a minute to got to the toilet! Busy to the point of being over worked and under appreciated. Work late nights constantly, expected to work weekends to clear emails, days off for weekends worked have been taken away as well.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I was skeptical reading other reviews, but I have never been happier in any position. My team is amazing, the EDUVOS staff (other than lecturers) are incredibly helpful and compassionate, the students' quality of work is above and beyond what I experienced working at public universities, and I feel so supported. I absolutely love working here.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We are required to complete all our marking in 5 days, which is difficult when you have more than one module all submitting on the same day. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment & culture is so supportive! When I started, they said they are really hard on their 'humanness' value, and it shows! Everybody treats me (as a new lecturer) with empathy, compassion, patience, and understanding. The workflow - from programme convenors to module leads to content writers and then to lecturers - works so well that you honestly feel like you are only lecturing (and not having to do everybody else's work as well). 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
With the online division we lecture at night (6-9), so the days usually have a handful of meetings if any at all, then prepping for lectures.

But if you really care about tight admin support, super-low fees, or you thrive under structured public-university systems, you might want to weigh the pros/cons carefully — especially if you’re considering online or part-time study with them.

I was hired on a temporary basis and my CTC was R8 500, however in the four months that I worked there I only got the full amount once. December had unpaid days as they were closed for the holidays it really sucked to find out mid December you would be getting half pay. January was hectic but overall manageable.  The team supports each other through and through.  Ohhh and you learn as you go which can be frustrating sometimes.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Enrollment season. Enrollement Season.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone moves in the same direction. From Lectures to the Sales team. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meeting target on getting new student .

*The pay is extremely low with no incentives
*No benefits, medical aid or pension
*Lecturers are expected to assist with admin, sales and marketing department when the main focus should be Academics
*Lecturers should be the face of the business but are treated as the lowest level department 
*The academic team is very friendly and helpful
*The higher ups have no consideration for lecturers unfortunately 

Eduvos Is a great institution they offer great quality of education and their lectures are friendly and always willing to help. Although the students advisors are rarely there to help support or listen to the students there are always lecturers who are willing to assist. And the librarian is such an amazing person who is forever helpful to the students 

Workplace culture is amazing. The hardest part of the job is when there's lots of work you need to catch up on. The most enjoyable part of the job is just working with amazing people!
