My time at Diesel-Electric was a rather enjoyable experience which taught me time managment skills as I was still busy with my diploma qualification at the time. I had to process customers orders from the time that the consignment arrived in the wwarehouse right untill they were provided to the customers this was through the customer directly fetching themat the warehouse or our drivers delivering them. One of the biggest lessons of this job was of cause being taught people skills in terms of being able to accomodate differnt types of customers and I believe my multingual background made me a favourite amongst many customers as i could communicate with them with whatever language they felt comfortatable with. My co-workers were the most friendliest people I had met as they were kind and patient when teaching me the ropes when I was a newcomer and it is from them that I learned the value of teamwork because a cohesive unit we managed to overcome any difficulties that came our way. Like any job it had its challenges like the long hours from seven o'clock in the moring untill 8 o'clock if we had to work overtime but since I had the will, drive and support from my colleagues and family at large I managed to balance everything out. Unfortunately at the end of it all I had to leave due to persuing my post graduate degree at the University Of Johannesburg so the distance wouldn't allow me to coontinue working.

When is month end is becoming more stressful

Environment is good an we learned more experience in a different things 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Middle of the month during Summer

Start early on projects given to me
Completed all the tasks as expected of me.
Worked well with co-workers and respect them and their cultures & religions.
The hardest part was to complete something new on my own, but the most enjoyable part was when the person in charge, shakes your hand and says "well done"!

I was an all round driver knowing all the routes, management lack education, driving truck but not paid for it, I was able to help during stock takings

Start the day bright and early.  Hard at work, with fun co-workers and steady management.  Everyday work is a lot but satisfying in the sense that you don't have to wonder what to do next.  Or how the day will pass.  You are busy, from morning, till you go home.

I can work under pressure,I can be able to be a team leader,and I am well motivated by personalities,its very nice to work under diesel because I meet a lot of challenges when it comes to wiring a panel,

Good and friendly staff to work with and a stressful job, not always a fair game in the Mathers of pro business as a over promise in the interview, but at least a had a very positive experience with the trade

Great company to work for every day you learn something new. Management supportive always want employees to be happy and welcomed. Ceo always closeby if you struggle or need a helping hand. Supporting system great.

I have pride in everything i do so it will always be at the best of my abbilities

I would be loading my spares and delivering  I do 3 runs a day meet customers receive credits and try to rectify mistakes that the sales department made I am very loyal and hard working
