DMC Debt Management

Typical day of work,consists of conducting outbound calls to DMC clients . Reaching agreements with clients on PTP’s (Promise to Pay) from existing clients on Acquired, Reactivate, Originated and Outsourced debt from Real People and other outsourced companies.We also educate customers on all relevant legislation relating to their financial status and credit profile and negotiate best payment solution with customers. 

I've learned how to manage irate clients and how to segmenet clients so that I am offering them the best solution to their debt obligations.

It is a young and vibrant work culture with lots of potential to grow.

The hardest part of the job is closing sales between 6 - 8 am in the morning, client are irate and getting ready to go to work

The most enjoyable partof the job is the vibrant and energetic workculture that is youthful and full of drive

Working independently and being allowed to chase your target.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not much but if the network is good and working in a good environment nothing can stress you.

Loving what you do makes a good environment and preserving a good culture is ideal and makes it easy for employees. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Knowing that you helped someone with their debt makes a perfect day and reaching your daily targets makes it even more enjoyable. If I don't make my target by the time to go home, l love the fact that I am allowed to work extra time.

DMC is a company that employs energetic individuals, you have to be goal driven all the time adher to company rules. The manner in which you conduct yourself is very important, you have to be punctual. Working at DMC educates you about a lot of things e.g: how important it is for one to have a clear and positive credit score, prescription and negotiation skills. There are also fun days that they always host to motivate workers, where they give away beautiful and useful gifts and the salary is not bad because basically you get what you work for( you earn your money). The management is very good.

I absolutely loved working for DMC, the company taught me so much about values and how important it is to respect your fellow human being.  It also taught me a lot about my own strengths and weaknesses.
The most difficult part of the job was when I had to call a difficult customer, but as time goes on I realized that it is not personal it is just business.

I most definitely enjoyed when I had a client who challenged me and I managed to win them over by gaining their trust.

When we were still working at the office, it was a fun place to work at. The people were fun to work with and the manangement was in constant communication with the employees. Employees were valued.  Work from home started and all the benefits went away. There is no basic salary, no bonuses, monthly incentives are scarce. One is alone working on their own and management does not care anymore. What they say is final without hearing views from the employees. It is not a good place for one's mental health.

Working as a field agent and discounted deals for it's clients

When clients refuse to pay their own debts

Working environment is very peaceful, working independently and pushing yourself 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Thursday is very typical when  you pushing your deadlines and knowing its payday the next day

The most enjoyable part of dmc is that one day of losing means more days of winning ahead. And the employees stand together whether it is personal or not. Teamwork is truly highly achieved and there after the hard work shows great results. Although we have been pressed on alot on controlling the uncertainty of a client making that payment. Dmc still manages to keep the balance.

Insults and rudeness from customers we deal with everyday.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Healthy working environment and good culture wise

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Talking to as many customers as i can and hoping for the best.

During the 3 years i worked there i have come to understand that that place doesn't value you as a person. I would wake up and go in at 9 o'clock in the morning to ' push' as we call it for my commission to atleast get a decent salary at the end of the month, but lo and behold my efforts will no show at the end of the month. Its a debt collections company o understand but we cannot force clients to pay. I widh they ccan understand that.

DMC is a call centre environment in collections  so its target driven and consultants must be able to cope well under under pressure. But if you follow instructions and do your job as required you can actually have a career at DMC.
