I saw the job there as challenging , because you had to meet a certain target daily,by delivering your whole load.It was fun and free because you were on the road most of the time unsupervised or having someone watching you,it was up to you and your responsibility to deliver,and meet your target.It was adventurous because you saw different people and discovered new places daily.Management was easy going and they understood if you had a problem.Here I learnt how to keep time and how to be responsible of a whole truck and it's load.The hardest of boring part was if you would get to work,and you don't work,they did not count that day.Other wise i enjoyed the freedom and outdoors,and driving.

Great place to learn how to be organized. Pleasure to work with colleagues who are full of drive and energy. The most enjoyable part of this job is the great food you get when you work overtime to unload the trucks that comes from Durban and Johannesburg. Management really takes care of the wellness of the employees. the company has taught time management as well cause when i distribute all goods to the companies, i must make sure that my drivers are back in a certain time period in order for the next load to be taken away in order for the warehouse floor to be clear of all incoming stock so that when new stock arrive, there is sufficient space for new incoming goods.

working with very happy colleagues,always puts a smile on my face,always willing to assist each other,Management are fantastic,always looking for finding a solution to a problem, not blaming an individual,lots of pressure in my working enviroment however works well unsupervised,Ive found difficulty in trying to locate some Trackers reason been some bright spark duplicated the barcode numbers,the most enjoyable part of my job is the people that i work with.

When the truck were laoding and when we were done with our dutie of the day

When the is lot of work to do and staff were shortage

Good working environment and management were also good comply and listen to our voices

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When iwas sick at work and idint tell my superio becouse of tomuch work

Starts at 08H00 with vehicle inspections, then capturing of fuel data,
reports to head office. Booking of vehicles for service, tyres maintenance etc.
This is a highly pressurised job, prioritising work load is imperative as the freight industry is dependent on the vehicles.
I like working with people and being a team player.

it is always good and enjoyable at work with everyone including my superiors.i enjoy my job which makes me work so energetically and long ours so that the job is done according to daily schedule.while life is good out here im just looking forward to expand my knowledge out there so that i can be someone valuable in the near future.

its not bad to work here,and atmosphere is pleasing ,management is good,my coleagues are so helping and loving,i like something challenging so i enjoy my job when volume is high becuase thats when i apply my skills to the fullest.there will be a lot of exemptions and problems to resolve,i work under presure.

a good day and very fun,ive learned experience in management position,management is a good team leader,working with people,always willing to learn,adapt easily to changes,good communication skills.the hardest part is when its hot,difficult to work in a high temperature

I loved working at City Couriers because they had lot of benefits (e.g) Leave Hours, Providen Funds, Unemployment Insurance Fund, Food Allowance, Standby Allowance & more. If l haven't got retrenched l would have still been working there even now.

Work environment is good,  work is challenging. my most enjoyable time at work is when I have to find a solution to a problem.  I love challenges and at City Couriers I am faced with a different challenge every day.
