Took the love out of retail for many alumni. Senior management extremely condescending and rude, leave much to be desired from them as leaders. Questionable  labour practices. Unrealistic expectations, very low salaries, no benefits whatsoever- no incentive, no commission, no medical aid and no prov fund. Only 2 staff members per shift while monthly targets are extremely high and thousands of units in store. Expected to man till, stock receiving, fitting rooms, counter and floor on 2 people in a big store. No growth within company, hardly any succession plans. Nothing “empowering”- they don’t prioritise their all female teams’ safety or general well-being. Ostracised if sick. Long hours. Unpaid lunches. Too much pressure. Head Office out of touch with what is really happening in SA. Many still working for company because of the economy otherwise they are still to lose quality staff members at store level. Research thoroughly before accepting work offers from them, visit stores and ask staff about environment.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The ladies...they are lovely. The colleagues and managers.

Being on your feet the whole day

It is fine, culture is also great by looking after the women in terms of  harassment policies at the store.

Need to meet targets however given less hours or days to do so

I honestly loved being there at first but after realizing why people are leaving I get it, no place of growth, very long hours and not kind staff members(some), you can't balance everything in your life with the hours and, push kpi with no incentives, very poor management ND rude it's alot, mentally you have to be strong because teams gossip abut it each other🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️it's alot honestly

i worked for this company as a flexi over the xmas period and it was the worst sales job i had. Area manager was rude, we were basically forced to sell items to a customer even if they really didnt want it. i dont think that sales should be forced, influenced, but not forced. Its a very demanding brand to work for.

I really enjoyed working at bras and things. I learned so much from Interacting with people, time management, interpersonal communication, flexibility to customer service. 

They empower people and team to better understand women out there. 
You will walk out a different person once shopped and work at. The vision of the company will say it all

Gained great experience, however, there's long hours of work and they hardly make their employees' wellbeing a priority and you should be able to work well under pressure.

Store manager is amazing, The long hours and constantly being at work never have time for family. The day my Eid was taken away from me due to short of staff was the day I mentally checked out!

Determination and hard work. 
Work long hours but no extra or overtime incentive.
Beautiful environment ti work in especially when you love underwear for women.
