Enterprise Account Manager – Software Licensing & ICT Solutions
Location: Remote with occasional travel to client sites as required across South Africa

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a minimum of 9 years’ proven experience managing enterprise customer accounts within the ICT industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic client relationships, overseeing software licensing portfolios, coordinating implementations, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of their software and technology investments.
This role requires a client-focused professional who can engage confidently with enterprise and government stakeholders, understand licensing requirements, coordinate internal teams, and ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and ongoing account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow strategic enterprise customer accounts within the ICT/software licensing sector.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Manage the complete software licensing lifecycle, including renewals, compliance, upgrades, and subscription management.
- Coordinate software implementation, onboarding, deployment, and user adoption activities.
- Work closely with technical and support teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Conduct regular client meetings, account reviews, and business planning sessions.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional software solutions and services.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, licensing recommendations, and renewal plans.
- Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and pipeline information.
- Stay current with industry trends, software licensing models, and ICT solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years’ proven experience as an Account Manager within the ICT, software, or technology industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise or large corporate/government customer accounts.
- Proven experience managing software licensing, subscriptions, SaaS solutions, or enterprise software products.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models and customer lifecycle management.
- Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience coordinating software implementations, onboarding, training, and post-sales support.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer accounts.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites where required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant vendor certifications or software licensing experience will be advantageous.

Pay: R40 000,00 - R60 000,00 per month
